So yeah...is he not sold in the United States? Had to buy him from an online UK store.

Pretty much. LEGO beat around the bush for him and Breez's release dates for a while, and they were later confirmed to come out in the summer in the US.

Now you know how us Australians felt regarding Toa Ignika. We had to wait until AUGUST to get it!

Yeah. The best reason I can think of is that they didn't want the winter wave to have more sets than the summer one, so they lumped Breez and Thornraxx with the other summer sets. It is rather annoying though, especially since it only happened to the US.

At the time there was no other way to get the MASK OF LIFE! Even for me that mask was the sole point of the set.

If only yellow was used in elements other than Stone...
