BZP art thats pretty cool library library tips

Library Tip #5: Been so busy, I can't scrape up Library Tips very well. There's a few going-ons in the SS forum right now. Check out the revamped Short Stories Library topic! It needs more entires, especially of the excellent type. Make sure you enter ToM's new SS contest, too! It's his first time hosting a BZP contest, and he's doing a great job.

This week is so good! Thursday is a "field-trip" day at school, and Friday contains no school at all! Next week contains no going-ons, either. I'll be online a lot more. Those of you who just got old PMs answered today already know that. Peace out!

Ach, wish I could enter that contest, but I've got a novel to write right now.
It just had to be in November I tells ya! HAD TO BE IN NOVEMBER! When for the first time I am writing a novel where I can't just go "And then there was some fan fic" because the story I'm writing is straight historical fiction (for once in my entire life) set in 1917 which is the wrong century for all of my favorite bands, never you mind Bionicle!
And even worse, even though I do have a time traveller (who might not appear, since the period characters I already have are insane enough as it is), he's from an alternate apocolyptic universe, so that can't be done, and even though I've got semi-literary journals involved, they're all anarchist and they've all existed so we know what kind of things they had in it for a fact, so I can't do that. And while I do start every very poorly defined chapter with a bit of lyrics by one bad (Destroyer), none of them have anything to do with anything.

Yeeep.
I might try entering it, just to see if I can write a convincing song fic with "Hey, Snow White" in it.
But then I'd have to count all the "How can you win some? How can you win some? How can you win some? How can you win some?"s in it.
It's like, an eight minute song with four lines. "Snow White, it's gonna be all right, it's gonna be all right", "How can you win some?" and "When the company goes public/You've got to learn to love what you own!". Yeah. Eight minutes of it. And apparently live he can stretch it to twenty minutes.
I believe that.

Either that or a Daniel Johnston song. I'm thinking "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Your Grievances" or any song from his "SATAN! SATAN! SATAN!" phase. Or maybe "What The World Needs Now". WITH NO EDITING. And somehow I'll manage to get heavy metal bands and Satan in there somewhere. And then get banned for suggesting that we've got too many crack houses.
