non-violent violence Nerf wasting money heck yeah
So I won a $50 WalMart card in a raffle, so I used it to buy a Rayven and Vortex Proton.
The Rayven is cool and shoots pretty well. I like the glowing darts a lot. Good to finally have a semi-automatic blaster. It's absurd with the 35-drum attached
I bought the Proton because I wanted to see what the Vortex blasters were like, and it's the smallest and cheapest. It didn't disappoint. I haven't been able to test the supposed 60-foot range, but from what I've seen from firing it indoors I don't doubt it. (e: after a quick range test outside, I can say that yeah it can definitely reach 60 ft., the only problem being that the discs are a bit slow) It's wider and more boxy than dart guns, but it's no bigger than a Maverick (and it's a bit shorter). I like the way it loads, too, even if it isn't the fastest way of doing it.
Also it's snowing, what the heck.

In April?
Madness.
Been thinking of picking up some of the newer Nerf rifles; with a few mods, some PVC additions, they could be pretty cool.
