I must be looking at it totally wrong, because I can't see a moose. I just see some bizarre dark form.
well your most likely expecting to see a moose with it's antlers but in the winter they lose thier antlers. when many people think moose they think antlers. but yes there are 2 moose in that picture although you can't see thier legs because that is how high the snow is in that part of my yard

Um... I don't think moose lose their antlers. However, female moose just lack antlers in the first place, so that's probably what it is.
Also that snow is ridiculous. I like snow every now and then, but sheesh.

male moose do lose their antlers after rutting season to preserve energy during winter.
and yes that snow is ridiculous
