Age: late thirties, early forties.
Appearance/reason for appearance: Landed in a steel mill, specifically in superheated molten steel. As such, finds any and all temperatures below four digits (F) frigid. Wears a dark blue trench coat, gray scarf, gray sweatpants, blue boots, and orange sunglasses at all times. Always has iPod headphones in, playing through his, quite literally, infinite playlist. He speaks in a flat voice, with a bit of a warble in his inflections. He wears a cylindrical tube on his back, which contains a shotgun and his special sound-amplifying pistol. Has randomly spiky hair, but it clearly forms rows when view face-first.
Hieght: At 8 ft even, Soundwave towers over most other decepticons and most autobots.
Rank: one of the members of the board at MegaCorp. Heads R&D, Communications, and Economics divisions.
Special companions: Buzzsaw rides on his shoulder and Ravage is either slinking around his feet or following at his heels. Rumble and Frenzy are also usually around him, wearing sleeveless shirts, jeans, and carrying their sledgehammers around. Ratbat occasionally occupies Soundwave's other shoulder, but more commonly resides in the economics department of MegaCorp. Ratbat, although not actually a bat or a cassetticon, is part of Soundwave's crew.
Autobot counterpart: "Blaze" Sanderson (Blaster)
Most likely autobot to pair up with: Either Grigori (Grimlock) or Benjamin Charleston (Beachcomber)
Other notes: Least likely for Megatron to lay off out of the board members.

I don't understand how to get it, reall. Anyone have any idea why some people are so popular?
