Modern Parts

Considering buying an HF or Super Heroes set to take a look at the modern parts and builds. Given the last Lego set I bought was Tahu Stars in '10, it'll be interesting.

Has anyone got any suggestions as to what would be a good set to buy? I'm interested in the newer armour parts and structural body pieces. I'm not interested in helmets particularly, or those pieces with the Hero Factory logo on.

I'd recommend either of the latest Big Bads, Black Phantom and Witch Doctor. The former's got more recent stuff, but they're both excellent.

Unfortunately all new sets have an H piece for game codes. If anything I would say thornraxx because of the new dark azure pieces. Also, it looks like a nui rama in some ways.
