So, I dunno' if any of you kept up with The All-American Rejects after their BIONICLE gig, or if you ever even liked them in the first place. But they just released their fourth album, and I picked it up the other day.
After the release of their third album, which was an unbelievable improvement from Move Along (seriously you can't imagine how much better/different it was), I figured this one wouldn't beat it. I was right, but after listening through Kids In The Street many times, I can safely say I do enjoy it quite a bit. More mature songwriting than their first two albums, many attempts at pushing the envelope of whatever genre they fit into right now, and many memorable songs (Beekeeper's Daughter, Walk Over Me, Kids In The Street).
So this is basically just an appreciation blog for what they're becoming, from the generic pop/rock band to this new... whatever the heck they are. If you enjoyed their other stuff, or if you didn't, you may still like this one (but also the last one is still way better IMO).

Haven't listened to(or even knew about) this new one yet.
