I think I knew from the start that keeping up with E3 coverage would be something of a masochistic decision. The reason I say that is because 1.) Not only do none of those E3 games debut for a while, but 2.) There's nothing terribly interesting showing up for Xbox owners this summer. I suppose if I had a thing for football video games I'd be wrong, but that just isn't the case. So until the last vestige of summer rolls around with Fall of Cybertron, I think I'm going to be stuck replaying older titles. Actually, I still need to borrow Mass Effect 3 (mostly for the sake of having a stronger argument to a friend of mine that is still delusional enough to believe that game had a good ending) and "take Earth back" or some such thing.
If you're wondering how I know the storyline to a game I haven't played, that's also a masochistic story. I can't ignore spoilers. I don't know what it is, but they're just too tantalizing to pass up. It's the entire reason I know way too many particulars about The Dark Knight Rises and we still have about a month until that starts cramming pretty much everyone into theaters. And by "pretty much everyone" I mean: unless you're a die-hard Marvel fanboy, why wouldn't you see this movie? But with this gaming drought coming up, maybe I'll have some time to practice self-control with watching/reading spoilers in some kind of early 20th century psychological experiment. Hah, who am I kidding? I still have XBLA Minecraft.
