And I'm too tired to give a full account of my camp experiences, so I'll just post a short list of words and phrases I never want to hear again:
  • "Mafia"
  • "Heads down!"
  • "Joe's old"
  • "Synergy"
  • "Narcissistic pumas"
I'll give a more detailed report on my trip (and possibly an explanation of the list) later, possibly tomorrow. Also, I finished 90% of my BBC #38 entry right before I left for camp, so I just need to tweak a few things and I should have it up on Wednesday.

My BBC #38 entry is coming along well, considering the limited amount of building time I've had so far. I've built most of the front, and I'm now tinkering with the main mechanism. However, I'll be away at yet another summer camp next week, so I'll have a grand total of 5 days to finish and photograph it. annoyed2.gif

I'm also considering whether I should include a light-up feature, it'll make the MOC look cooler, but it won't count as a function and it might take up valuable space.
I need more red parts.

I got back from my camping trip, and I'm pretty tired (as evidenced by my post's title) so I'll just give a list of the good and bad things about the trip instead of going into detail about each item:

Good Things:
  • Swimming
  • Kayaking
  • Wakeboarding
  • Seeing relatives
  • Squirting relatives with water guns
  • Dumping bucket of water on cousin's head
  • Running like heck away from same cousin
  • Hot dogs
  • Soda pop
  • Food in general.
Bad Things:
  • Insects
  • Heat
  • Sunburn
  • Long car rides with all 5 siblings

Happy Fifth Anniversary, Bzp!

Yay for late-night blogging!

First off, let me wish a supercalifragilisticexpialidociiusly wonderful anniversary to BZP, and all the members, especially the staff and admins. Although I have never become what you might call well-known, I've had a fine time here over the last four-and-a-half-years-and-eleven-days, and it wouldn't be possible without all of y'all.

Now, I have a few things that may or may not be of interest to you:

I am going on my family's annual camping trip from Thursday till Sunday. It sure is smart of me to start this blog and then not update it for four days.. Anyway, if anything interesting happens, I'll be sure to mention it when I get back. I might get to water-ski, so we'll see how that goes.

In MOCing news, I started my Inika stronghold the day after I got the magazine. So far I just have a neat little bridge with a trapdoor. The plan is for the stronghold to be a wrap-around deal, sort of like the Exo-Force Sentai Fortress.

I just now thought of a name that might get my blog more attention: How to Disembowel a Weasel in Three Easy Steps. Any thoughts?

Finally, try and guess the quote: "Jimmy, my mystic alarms--Intruders!" Who said it, and where?

Random Bits
Now, for the third time in my "life" on BZP, I am a Premier Member! I became one partially because of BZP's upcoming 5th anniversary, but mostly because I wanted a blog.

I thought I'd start this off with a list of considered (and rejected) names for my blog:
