No everybody, you're doing it wrong. We start getting ready for Christmas after Thanksgiving. ;_;

I dunno; as someone who traditionally put Christmas preparations off until the last minute, having the early peer pressure is kind of helpful (at least as far as gift giving is concerned). The early setup of decorations is kind of overkill, but what can you do?

Also, it takes every ounce of my strength to resist listening to my Trans Siberian Orchestra albums until Thanksgiving is over and done with.
