So, about a week ago, I watched The Dark Knight. The one from 2008. It was quite awesome. It's now officially my favorite movie. Although, the Two Face stuff was sort of unrealistic. Great movie! I recommend it as long as your family is okay with a bit of violence and maybe a few disturbing parts. But heck, most of you guys are older teens, so I don't think it should be that much of a problem.

Well, I guess that in a list of the 500 best films of all time, I'd probably rank it somewhere around 250, so viewing things from your paradigm I guess I look pretty negative. I still like Batman Begins a lot more as a standalone movie, but now that the trilogy has come fill circle I appreciate The Dark Knight more as a great second instalment that manages to be more than bridge between beginning and end by adding a lot to the legacy in its own right. I'm looking forward to when Rises comes out so that I can watch the trilogy all the way through.

Yet my unwavering opinion, however unpopular this view may be, is that the best superhero movie out there is a back-to-back viewing of Richard Donner's Superman I&II.
