Can't wait to see the movie; this one and The Hobbit are my big two for the year, no questions asked.
Actually, I should dedicate an entry to The Hobbit. Expect one tomorrow or the next day. But onto The Hunger Games!
I entered a scholastic contest where we had to send in the first five pages of a story that takes place in the future. The grand prize is an all expenses paid trip to the premiere of The Hunger Games film, and a box set of the books (which I am lacking in). So I'm hoping I win, though I'll still see the movie if I don't.
My entry was about a kid who lives in a giant concentration camp in the time period of 2040-2060, where the city of Little Rock is currently located. But it's totally different in the sotry. Also, in the story the world has been divided into three by the Soviet Union, Nazi Germany, and Japan after an Axis victory in World War 2.
So yeah.
