I must say I find the whole anti-brony thing to be pretty ridiculous.
I am more than okay with people not liking the show if they have legitimate reasons for not enjoying it, because opinions are the basis of discussion and communication is good!

However, disliking the show and it's fans because of some outdated belief that the world is blue and pink and boys should not enjoy things aimed at girls really rubs me the wrong way. As does, in fact, the very thought of disliking someone because of what they like.

And being perfectly honest, letting other people's actions/displays of fandomship bother you is really silly. You should allow other people to have what they wish in their av/sigs just as anyone else, and if it really bothers you that much, just use an adblock.

tl:dr: this is silly. If you don't like it ignore it and if you do, great. It's just a fad. I'm sure it will pass soon enough.

But I agree with you to an extent. But that's another discussion for another day.

And I can see where that's a prob. It's different in a forums because you can just avoid it, which is cool. But if you get PMs or chat with these friends? lol I know they get bugged.

It's the same way with the fans of Lost. I should know I am one. I talk about it too much probably. :3

And that's the sort of thing I consider as a legitimate reason to not care about the show. Obsessive, over the top bronies are an annoyance to both people who don't watch the show as well as those who do. However, this largely is not the issue here in BZP, where most everyone is being cool about it.

What I meant was in relation to the topic that started this all, as the main thing the anti-brony complains consist of is "I am disgusted by the fact that guys watch this."
