Yeah so I went on a field trip with my Japan club up to Little Tokyo at LA today. We went to the Japanese-American National Museum and then just went to a bunch of stores with friends. It was cool. I scored Soul Eater volumes 11 and 12, so that was one thing I wanted to do this year out of the way.
Anyway laterwards on the trip back we found ourselves in a Kinokuniya bookstore, which stocks manga, in their original japanese versions. I wanted to buy volume 22 of Soul Eater (because look at it) but even though they're a lot cheaper than the translated versions, I was some dollars short. This was mostly because we went to a restaurant and we had to buy food, and this food was also a bit expensive.
Being a living thing has serious downsides.
On the plus side, I finally did get volume 12, and volume 12 has Tezca. Yay?
