Considering a purchase of Black 2

I thought I was done with those blasted Pokeymonz, but all of these entries about the games over the last few weeks is getting me interested again. I also have a friend who had become similarly disinterested in the series raving about the games.

I will now open the floor for you, the people, to further persuade me. I'm not totally sold yet, tell me why I want this game.

Have you played Black 1? Don't get me wrong, Black 2 is superior in many ways. But it's also one of the more continuity-dependent Pokemon games, so while it'd probably be easy enough to understand what's going on without playing the originals, it may not be as meaningful to you. Plus, there's a decent amount of content that's unlocked if you link your save file from Black 1 to a copy of Black 2.

In that case, I'd actually recommend White 2 instead of Black 2, considering the sequel contains a fair number of the things missing from the original. For instance, in White 2 you can get Reshiram to complement the Zekrom from White 1. Yeah, you still won't be able to get Reuniclus or Mandibuzz, but those are far easier to get over the GTS than Reshiram would be.

I actually agree about the Reshiram thing. Heck, I have like 10 Zekrom now, but only the Reshiram from Black. xD
