Sigh...

Posted by Haecceity , in Uncategorized, Random musings Dec 11 2012 · 174 views

You guys just couldn't wait patiently for the apocalypse like everyone else, could you?

Well, on the bright side, we still have few burning remnants of the once glorious Blogosphere left...

...and...um...radiation poisoning shouldn't set in for a bit...and we have pictures of puppies!

....

....

....

ALL IS GOOD

(Now, where are those zombies? I always wanted to make friends that have the same interests as me...)

Art and ramen go well together

Yay! Time to spam you guys with more art! =P

Made for an assignment in graphic abstraction using GIMP, Photoshop CS4, Artweaver Free, and Pixia.

C&C welcome and all that...

Also, miso ramen with a pinch of ginger, some scallions, edamame, a bit of basalmic vinegar, and a dash of black pepper is delicious. Been tinkering with ingredients and amounts for the past few days-but I think I've got the taste just right. *noisily slurping*

You always were a kidder, Steve...

Posted by Haecceity , in Art and stuff Dec 09 2012 · 95 views

So, I'm back. And in my long break I haven't been doing much...played some Harvester (An extremely quirky point-and-click adventure game), got a new computer, and joined a new D&D campaign. (Playing as a somewhat psychotic Paladin of Saint Cuthbert- loving how he's developing.)

Oh... and I have art. Yay for originality in my blog entries!

I'll post more later on in the week.
C&C would be great.

I'd like some opinions on something I'm starting to write

Posted by Haecceity , in Writing Sep 29 2012 · 86 views

I've decided to take the plunge once more into the SS forum, but knowing my writing is mediocre at best, I wanted some opinions on the way I'm starting off.

He was warm…so very warm… Rivulets of sweat poured down his arm-or was it his leg? He couldn’t tell anymore. No, not in the whiteness-not in the pain that would not stop. Like the tides it came, slowly but surely every day. He remembered the tides, as he remembered the dark. He remembered that sweet musk that permeated the air, and how the Turaga would touch the flame and invoke its spirit, making it with a light that dispelled fear, shining with the ripples of countless colours. Now the pain and the warmth were the only things left…
Warmth...
He chuckled to himself. Warmth couldn't begin to describe the searing sensation he felt every moment, the agony that burned with a fierce passion, the countless fires worming their way through his veins. He wished he had someone else to see, someone to share the pain and the whiteness with.
Wait-there were others. They…it was so hard to remember…they fought the Shadow. He could remember the Shadow, he who took the form of Matoran, he of the endless destruction.
Destruction...?
Cleansing...
The warmth ebbed away, leaving a dark void-but the pain remained, flooding his body, overtaking his mind. In the darkness shapes formed, swirling around him, piercing his flesh and morphing into grotesque shapes. The Hive beckoned… The Bahrag were here.

Wolves of blue(WIP ART)

Posted by Haecceity , Sep 18 2012 · 112 views

Whenever I draw canines recently, I start colouring them blue...(This is obviously Chols's fault)

Of course, when I actually start drawing a wolf based off of Chols's fursona, I forget to color it blue. Oh well, it's just a WIP right now.

WIP1
WIP2 (yes, I know I suck at drawing wolves. I'm better at foxes and stuff. Sorry for taking the liberty to include your av, Chols-I was using it as a reference.)

Comments and criticism appreciated-really, they are.

T-shirts and flowers (oh and some things I wrote when I was half-asleep)

Posted by Haecceity , in Random musings, Art and stuff Sep 17 2012 · 53 views

So, I got my BZPower T-shirt in the mail today-loving the design.

...

Oh, should I explain the entry title? Well, we've started using Adobe Illustrator in a class I'm taking, so I had some fun with it. Linky!
Lighter version

Life gets colder
the fire burns
the head once lifted
now slowly turns
those bleak eyes stare
at things once there
within its realm

Bleeding
  dark
Feeding   cold

Those bloody hands
those baleful eyes
those shaking lands
destined to rise
and in the dark
I cannot see
they are coming-
coming to me
What bloody hands have wrought again
what baleful eyes have come to send

Slowly creeping
white death lies
sunning slowly
Sacrifice
tasting streams
Killing dreams
feeding again
wounds don’t mend
Claiming sleep
hard to keep
The Whiteness
Away

weep for life
weep long for them
My sorrowful son, weeping again
Weep for the wings slashed by the knife
weep for the firewolf doomed to die
weep for the blind, my sorrowful son

doubt permeates
many things
Getting late
Phone won’t ring
The sad wretch cries
The carpet sobs
The window screams
the gunshot, long

That dead, blank stare
Those vacuous eyes
You wanted to run-
So I’ll make you hide
Your cheerful grin
Hiding all these lies
Hammering beat
Until I die

Trying something new.

Posted by Haecceity , Sep 03 2012 · 108 views

Y'know how most things I draw fall under the category of "mild nightmare fuel"? Well, I'm trying to ease up on that a bit.

In a couple days I'll probably give up on these before they're finished and coloured, but that doesn't matter.

Also, Rahkshi concept.

You start pretending your Hero Factory sets are TF2 classes with the Heroes as the RED team and the villians as the BLU team.

MakutaFest Stuff and Lime Green Robots

Posted by Haecceity , Aug 07 2012 · 74 views

I've gotta say, it was quite fun. Congrats to the winners, and all that. =P

MakutaFest has, among other things, given me a new purpose in life. I must make a model of the MU robot in lime green. This is obviously the only thing worth living for.
Through storms and unbearable odds I shall forge my path, creating a masterpiece that cracks easily. Yes, this is truly what it means to be alive!
I shall continue my quest for the lime robot until my death. This, however challenging, must be my destiny!

Now, where's my Oscar for "Best Performance Involving A Childrens' Toyline And Giant Robots"?

Just some art stuff-nothing really worth mentioning.

Posted by Haecceity , in Art and stuff Aug 04 2012 · 59 views

I've been attempting a "brighter and cheerier" style recently, and these are the results.
(The one on the right was somewhat based off of a Husi, but if anyone knows any Rahi that resemble the other two, give me a shout.)
