Ponies Premiere

Sombra actually got more backstory than Chrysalis. What he lacked was character development. You might look at him more favorably, however, by comparing him to Sauron. Both were once mortal, with their own ambitions and personalities, but both ended up losing their humanity or in the case of Sombra, unicornity (is that a word?) and exist at the time of their respective stories primarily as embodiments of evil, with no desire other than to rule.

The songs are heavily situational, so they're not quite as listenable as, say, The Smile Song. But the music that accompanied them was excellent.

I just about lost it when Pinkie Pie unzipped her Fluttershy costume. Was not expecting that at all.

I know, right? That is why Pinkie is best pony. And best spy.

I still say instead of doing these epic quest story arcs in just two episodes, they should do a full-fledged movie to properly develop a solid story. It was nice to hear Jaller again, though. XP
