If you had 3D battling capabilities/games that would work in tandem with BW/B2W2, I'd probably get you, but you don't. Sorry.

Also, the Dream Radar costs like three bucks, but is infinitely more useful. Strange.

Paying fifteen dollars for what is on many websites for free... Yeah, I don't know why anyone would bother buying it.

That was the weirdest part to me. But I'm not complaining.
Apparently Japan has an iDevice Pokedex. You get Unova free... and then every other dex is a few bucks to complete the package. So it ends up being the same thing. It's a conspiracy!
You realize that the Pokedex 3D Pro costs as much as buying a book with the same content, right?
If you could use it while Black2/White2 were suspended it might be worth it. Unfortunately, you can't run anything but basic stuff like the internet browser while a 3DS game is suspended, and you can't even suspend standard DS games like the current generation of Pokemon.
Maybe if I were planning to get a strategy guide instead of relying primarily on the internet I'd consider getting this app instead. As it is, I'm holding out on the off-chance that it either goes on sale or becomes a Club Nintendo reward.

This. My issue is that there is nothing new that this app offers that isn't already readily available for free (other than the 3D models, which you can see in Pokémon Battle Revolution and Pokédex 3D anyway). If there were some bonus gameplay or exclusive or hard-to-find Pokémon that came with it, I would consider buying it, but even then probably not for $15. It's just too pricey for what it offers, in my opinion.

I was worried you'd caved and gotten it. XD
Normally when you get a pokedex, you also get a starter pokemon. And they are both given to you free of charge because giving children super-powered animals to use for fighting is always morally right.
So, yeah, if it were like ten dollars cheaper, I'd consider it. XD
