KH3D is coming!

Posted by Jedi Master J. , in Video Games Jul 31 2012 · 66 views

Hey, folks. I am just popping in to remind you guys that Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance comes out today and that I will be doing an unbox-ing thing here later on in the day when I get home from work. I can't wait. :)

This unbox-ing thing most likely is going to be a video that I will upload to Vimeo for you guys to watch. There will be pictures as well for those not up for watching a video. So yeah, you guys will have plenty options to chose from to check out this unbox-ing thing.

Really I am not sure how many people are really interested in seeing me doing this actually, but since one person expressed interest in seeing this awhile back, I thought should go all out with it. *shrugs* I guess I'll just have to wait and see then.

Alright, folks, I got to go now to work, so I'll see you all later. Thanks for taking the time to read this, BZPers.

The Key To Everyone's Smiles Wip

Posted by Jedi Master J. , in Video Games, CAD Stuff Jun 28 2012 · 76 views

Hey, BZPers. I am just popping in again really quick to share with you guys a project that I start today in Autodesk Inventor. What is that project? I am making a Minifigure sized Kingdom Keyblade. :)

And well, to show that I mean business, I thought I should show you my work in progress model from today. So without further ado, here it is.

Yeah, I know it is not overly impressive at the moment, which is not really surprising considering I made this in like fifteen minutes or so during commercials for new Burn Notice episode today. But well, it should look much better in a few days' time when I have more time to play with Inventor.

Oh, and by the way, the LEGO House project is still ongoing thing. I just have had it on back burner for awhile now because I want to take a break from Inventor at end of this last semester. I should be getting back to it soon though, so expect news about that project again at some point here.

In other news, there is just one more day of work and then I am vacation. :) I can't wait for it to start, especially considering it means that I can start playing through Kingdom Hearts I again (And hopefully beat it in time to also play Kingdom Hearts II during my vacation.).

Alright, that's all folks. Thanks for taking to the time to read this all and I hope you all are having a good day. See ya, BZPers.

Argh...Why did I have to find out now when it is midnight that demo for Dream Drop Distance is available in 3DS shop? Well, I guess I know what I am doing tomorrow after work, guys. Hopefully I'll still get that Pokelog up for you guys.

And that's all for this entry. Yeah, I know this kind of short, but I mainly just posting this entry to spread the word to those that miss the news like I did that Demo for Dream Drop Distance is available now. So go download it, if you hadn't already. Okay? Talk to you all later, BZPers.

Myself As A Pony & General Gaming Talk

Posted by Jedi Master J. , in Video Games, Random Jun 10 2012 · 110 views

Hey, BZPers. Today's entry going be gaming related again since I had my first online match in Kid Icarus: Uprising today with JiMing, so I am kind of in gaming state of mind at the moment. And I must say that was fun a match and I would love to do that again with him and possibly other BZPers.

But anyway, before I start on my general gaming talks here, I want to show you guys my pony-self (Which I made with General Zoi's pony creator).

Oh, and before anyone asks, yeah, he does not have a cutie mark.

***

Alright, back on topic, I would like to talk about a few things that I kind of would like see in the future with games. For starters, I would like to see with games that have Kid Icarus styled online play (Which I got say was very good for Nintendo standard considering there was pretty much no noticeable lag when I was playing it with JiMing. However I did notice something happen, while I was playing one time by myself. And that was my team was frozen in place and the clock wasn't counting down at start of a match. And yet the Dark Team was advancing toward us. It was weird and I kind of think it might of been hacked, but I soon was able to move again. *shrugs*) have the ability to communicate with your teammates because I think it would really help people to properly work together.

I also would like to see possibility of having different weapon types in the new Super Smash Bros game, so that player can kind of custom their combat to their preferences. My reasoning for this is I think it would be kind of nice to allow the player to almost like personalize the character. At same time though, I can see why this wouldn't work because it would probably alienate the original players of the series and it could never be to degree of what Kid Icarus has done due to the home version being restrict to just the home obviously. Plus, it could cause some balance issues, I imagine. *shrugs*

If anything, it makes me very curious how they will pull off handheld version of Super Smash Bros since the Streetpass stuff should not give anyone more advantage in the game than the console version. Then again, the streetpass stuff will probably just be Subspace related, so I guess there really will be no problem then. Plus, I have faith that Masahiro Sakurai will deliver us another good Super Smash Bros title. :)

Another thing that I would like to see is a game centered around you be an animal of some sort (I don't mean humaniod animals, we got plenty of those or at least we have.), where you have to travel through a world like the Pride Lands from the Lion King films. Heck, if anything, I would love it if someone took what Kingdom Hearts 2 did with the Lion King world and build a game center around just that world. Man, that would fun. At least for me, it would be. *shrugs*

In other gaming news, I am really getting in mood of playing TWENTY again, so hopefully I do play that next week. I also probably going to start Terra story in Birth by Sleep, if I don't get sidetrack with TWENTY and cleaning the basement up. Oh, by the way, guys, I might not be on much next week due to my brother graduation and the fact that I really do need to clean the basement up because it has gotten way out of hand, especially around my computer.

Alright, that's all I got to talk about today for this entry. Apologizes if it wasn't too interesting to most of you. Thanks for taking the time to read it though and I hope you all have good night. Talk to later, BZPers.

Hey, folks. I am just popping in tell you all that I have just beaten solo mode of Kid Icarus: Uprising today! :) Now all I need to do is unlock all the achievements and replay all chapters at higher difficult levels. Oh, and play online with others as well. Wish me luck with that, guys.

And well, I don't have anything else to talk about here, so I am call this entry and post it. No wait...I guess I should say this. I will be posting a review of Kid Icarus: Uprising in my blog here.

Alright, for real now, that's all folks. Thanks for taking the time to read this and hope you all have good night.

Oh, and in case you wondering, the picture below is just a bonus thing to make up for fact that this entry is shorter than usual. So yeah, there is nothing important about that. It is a just a picture that I felt like sharing with you all. Okay? See ya, BZPers.

Want To Play With Me? (Questions)

Posted by Jedi Master J. , in Random, Video Games May 29 2012 · 122 views

Hi, folks. Today's entry is another quick one since I am kind of tired and well, nothing really happen today that worth mentioning here (I unfortunately did not get to play final chapter of Kid Icarus today since I did not really have the time to after walking home from work today.). This entry is going to be more of a poll than anything else. Alright, then here are questions, folks.

Online Play Centric Questions
1) Is anyone interest in maybe playing online with me in Kid Icarus: Uprising this weekend? Just wondering as I kind of would like to check out the multiplayer mode of the game soon and I thought it might be fun to do it with other BZPers.

2) Would anyone be interest in playing Portal 2 Co-Op with me? Again, just wondering since I thought it would be fun to play with other BZPers. It should be noted that I have PS3 version though and that Steam was acting buggy when my sister try to Co-Op with me from her Steam account, so I don't know if that was temporarily problem or not. Hopefully it was.

If it isn't though, then I guess I'll just have to wait until I buy new computer to replace this five year old Gateway with Windows Vista on it. Any suggestions for a new computer are welcome, by the way.

3) Would anyone be interest in having a Pokemon battle with me in Pokemon Black? lol Which you guys will most likely owned me in. But eh, I don't mind and beside, I am sure it will fun anyway.

General Blog Questions
4) Do you want to see me review Kid Icarus: Uprising here? I am just asking to see whether or not people would be interest in seeing one from me.

5) Should I make weekly Minecraft entries with screen caps of my progress on my base?

And that is all for this entry. Thanks for taking the time to read. I am sorry that it wasn't too interesting of entry and I hope you all have good night. See you all later.

I Am Finished! And I Am Blockhead!

Posted by Jedi Master J. , in Video Games, Nintendo May 28 2012 · 83 views
Kid Icarus
Hey, folks. Today's entry is going to be kind of short since I would like to get to bed soon considering I do have work tomorrow. So to straight to point of this entry, I was playing a lot of Kid Icarus: Uprising today (About 6 hours and 26 minutes according to the 3DS's nice little chart thing.).

And well, guys, I think this game might end up being my Game of the Year. Seriously it is awesome game with great humor and I personally recommend it to anyone with a 3DS because it is one of the system's most top-notch titles out this year. Heck, if you don't even have a 3DS and you are planning on getting one, buy this game with it because you seriously won't regret doing it.

Oh, and I am blockhead because I got finished by Pyrrhon a bunch times before realizing he had a shield that I had to take down first. So yeah, once I got pass that stopping block, I was cruising through the chapters and I am now on the final chapter of the game. Which I actually would still be playing now; but since I got work tomorrow and I was getting finished by final boss a lot, I decide to call it a night. I most likely will beat it tomorrow though, so wish me luck with that.

Oh, and for those curious, my favorite chapter has got to be Chapter 18, which I must say really makes me wish that Nintendo could make an adventure game center around being a dog now. Also I really hoping that Nintendo will think about working on another Kid Icarus game since I personally don't want to see Pit go back to the closet of forgotten heroes. *sigh*

Alright, I think did enough promoting of Kid Icarus: Uprising for one night, so I am calling this entry and post it. Thanks for reading it, folks. And I hope you all have a good night. See ya, BZPers.

Gaming, Spring Semester Grades, And Ideas

Posted by Jedi Master J. , in LEGO, Random, Video Games May 21 2012 · 78 views

Hey, BZPers. Today's entry is going to be kind of mixture of topics since I was not able to find the time to post an entry yesterday. Mostly what would of been in that entry was gaming stuff since I actually did not play any video games today since I was too busy watching the House MD finale (Which I am not going to comment on because I know that I am going to be too tempt to spoil stuff.).

So yeah, to start, I am going talk about what games that I play yesterday. And well, they are exactly the same games that I played on Saturday, which were Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep and Minecraft. For Birth by Sleep, I made literally no progress to speak of since I was just playing that annoying minigame again and I still have not been it. Argh...I also made the discovery that you have to get much more than a thousand points to actually beat the minigame to finish Disney Town, so I was more than a little annoyed at the game when I notice I got 1002 points and it still told me that is not good enough. WHY ARE YOU SO MEAN TO ME, GAME?

As for Minecraft, I was mostly just expanding my trench around the house and thinking about building up a wall on the borders of my trench because I thought it might add an extra layer of protection to my home. Plus, it will kind of fit the theme that I am going for my house, which is building a sandstone castle (or at the very least sandstone tower.). Also I will admit I was playing in Peaceful mode, while digging my trench and that was simply because I did not want any surprise Creepers to show up since I would have my head pointing down to dig most of the time. Oh, and I might take some pictures of it later if you guys are interested in seeing it.

Moving right along, I got the last of my school grades for this semester today, so my grades are the following:
My Fall Semester Grade
- Fluid Power and Controls > A

My Spring Semester Grade
- Design Project Methods > A
- Detailing-Assembly-Fixture Design > B
- 3D CADD > A
- Technical Mechanics > A

Current GPA
- 3.67

The only the grade that I am disappointed about here is the Detailing-Assembly-Fixture Design class and that just because I know I could I have done so much better, if I did not slack off as much as I did this semester. Still though, I can't complain since getting a B is not really that bad.

In other non-school related news, I got a few ideas running through my head currently and  I thought I would share them with you guys since most of them involve this blog. Okay, the first two ideas are some blog contests that I think it would be kind of cool to host here. But well, I don't really know how popular that ideas are going to be. So I guess I will listed them here for you guys to judge what you would like better.

- Contest Idea #1: Write a short story involving a medieval Matoran Universe with Matoran Halflings as the main characters of story. The story must be a fantasy story, so technologically cities can not be involved.
- Contest Idea #2: Write a children story like the Dr. Seuss's books. The story is mostly the author's choice, but this idea would allow people to work in groups and you can even have some artists draw illustrations for the story. Because of this, the prize for winning the contest will be set up in a way that all those involved will get something to keep things fair.

As for my other idea, I been thinking a lot lately about maybe trying to use LEGO pieces to teach people some drafting stuff. In particularly, architectural stuff since I think LEGO could be great starting tool to teach the basics of architectural to younger children. And well, I kind want to give that a try and see how successful I could be at doing that.

Admittedly I would probably needed to buy a book on architectural since I can not really claim to be expert on architectural stuff considering my main interest in engineering is mechanical (Which is why I love Technic as a child.). However I did learn some architectural stuff in high school and in some of my early CAD class, so I think I should be able to get the hang of some of the stuff easily enough. *shrugs*

Alright, that's all I got for you today. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope you all have a good day. Night, BZPers.

Ice Cream Beat...argh

Posted by Jedi Master J. , in Video Games May 20 2012 · 104 views

Hey, folks. Today's entry is a video game one. Yay, right? Actually no, not yay since I spent like five hours playing the Ice Cream Beat mini-game in Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep for Ven's story and I am little annoyed at the moment, especially considering I still hadn't beaten it. I mean seriously guys, a mini-game like this should not be that hard. Not only that, but it should not be the deciding factor for unlocking the last world in Ven's story.

Argh...If it weren't for the fact that my PSP is low on battery power, I would probably still be doing it now too. Although at the same time, it is good that I am not as I was getting to throw controller level of annoyance and you all know that does not end well when your controller is a handheld. But man, I seriously must be worst gamer ever as I watch a few people do it online and they make it look so easy. I just can't seem to time my button pressing well enough near the end of the mini-game, so I keep scoring in like 500s and 700s region rather than in the 1000s (Which is what I read is the requirement for beating it). Argh...

In other video game related news, I play a bit Minecraft earlier today. But to be honest, I did not really do much in it to elaborate here. I did notice something weird though. During one of the times that I was leaving the house after changing it from night to day by sleeping in my bed, there was a couple of Creepers sitting out across the riverbank that I was cleaning out.

Now obviously I was freaking out at the sight of them and I was thinking, "Oh, man. What am I going to do now? They just ruin my plans for the day," and then this happen, "Wait...What? Did they just both go proof? How did that happen? I didn't put it on peaceful mode. How are they gone?" Naturally I was curious and all, so I got closer to see if they were really gone and they were.

I have no idea how that happen, but apparently I have magic mental Creeper removal powers. lol No, I think I just move far enough away from them that the game must of stop loading them or something. *shrugs* Any of you Minecraft scientists have an explanation for this? :P

And well, that's about all I got for you guys. I am sorry if it is not too interesting to you, but I am kind of tired right now, so I don't feel like ramble about anything else; sorry. Thanks for taking the time to read this, folks, and good night.
