I Love Staff Name Changes

Because inevitably, there's a GD topic about it, and it's the only time any of us can spam/RP in that forum. Currently, I've aligned myself with a witch character from a Shakespearean episode of Doctor Who, and we're slowly taking out the demons who inhabit soda bottles, which can take on human forms.

A subplot involves Spock trying to play 3D chess with parakeets and shampoo bottles.

Six years ago today, I joined this site called BZPower.

Six years ago, the spinny that I have next to my proto bar didn't even exist. The following year it was given to only the most tenured members, the ones that everyone looked up to, be they staff or not. But yet, I've always considered the five-year Olmak to be the Old Folks Spinny, simply because that was what all the old folks had when I first joined. It's been ingrained into my memory ever since.

Now that's gone. I've passed it.

And I feel kind of old because of it.
