Hardly the worst song ever. All who say so either aren't BIONICLE fans or are ex-fans who dropped out before 2006.

I agree. People are getting bent out of shape over nothing. They're all just jealous that THEIR parents didn't pay for THEM to get their own music video.

Piraka rap was just silly, nothing all that serious. It was a catchy tune that was nothing more than an ad helping one memorize the Piraka. Still certainly not something I would put on my iPod.

I can hardly even consider Friday to be a song. It's talking out stereotypical lyrics relying far too heavily on autotune. Just bleh.

Granted I won't criticize anyone for liking either song mentioned here. My tastes in music is fairly odd, and someone could just as easily disagree with my tastes. Pitting music tastes against one another is perhaps one of the most pointless type of argument. Music is made to be enjoyed, and what type of music a listener enjoys is something entirely up to them.

This post isn't really directed at any person in particular, rather towards readers in general. This issue's been bothering me for a while and I just need an appropriate place to let it out.

Neither songs are particularly serious, yet people are taking Friday as seriously as they took Piraka Rap way back in the day. It's kinda odd, IMO.

I guess I should point out that I'm not really concerned whether anyone likes the songs mentioned or not. Heck, I still have Piraka Rap on my computer.

Okay, admittedly I've seen people hating on "Friday". The problem with me is that, well, there's nothing unique or striking about it. It's just your stereotypical pop song, and with worse lyrics, no less. Besides which, I don't like the use of AutoTune.
