Donnie Darko

Donnie Darko is amazing--did you watch Director's Cut or normal? 

YES DIRECTOR'S CUT BUDDIES.

I've never actually seen the theatrical cut, but I know that the Director's cut it gets a LOT of grief from people who say it explained too much--but dude, that movie was pretty awesome.  So I have absolutely no problem.

Director's Cut is the only version I will watch of that movie.

I've watched that movie so many times. It was one of the texts my class looked at last year for Film Studies, along with Rebel Without A Cause. I know which one I definitely preferred. It was the one that didn't have bloody James Dean in it.

Oh and uh...I preferred the original cut because the music fit better in so many scenes.
