Okay, now I've seen this: picture link
It's an early concept drawing of the island of Mata Nui from Christian Faber's blog. The landscapes are more clearly defined here than in other maps I've seen, including various mountain peaks, ridges in the desert, and the volcano.
Next year we will redo our Mata Nui island model. We will adjust the sizes to make everything more porportionate. And we will base the design off this map. (Heck, maybe even design from the coastline to the interior next time too.)
Sure, it won't be as original because it would have been done before (by us) but we'd make it better!!
But won't happen until next year cause we won't have time to fix it (which will require tearing it all down pretty much) and anyway Steven's already packed it away.
BUT THERE WILL BE PLANS FOR THE FUTURE!

I remember when LEGO Mag had something similar, with just small details (like locations of the Koros). Nothing obtrusive, so most of the map was nice and visible.
