Yay, another Lego Friends Review. I actually got this set and took pictures of it in January, but then I heard DeeVee was gonna write a review so I put it off so he could get his say in first. (Also, because I didn't want to point out the exact same things. Now I know that a few of my observations are somewhat original as far as BZP reviews go.) Last month, I got around to finally writing this review, and now I've posted it. Yayz.

As for why BZPers should love the new Friends Mini-Dolls... well, click for the next picture. I put it in a Spoiler tag because it would spoil the best part of the review, IMO.

Anyway, I expect a lot of fallout from this, considering what DeeVee got when he posted his review, so I guess I'll see how people react to my observations. (Granted, I did already write a long detailed essay on my views of Lego Friends but I'm sure nobody read it because it was too long. I'll cite it tho in future arguments.

)

I've seen someone use this for a hilarious Samus Aran minifigure. For a mecha hardsuit or something, the proportions on this torso might be better, of course. But why stop there? How about the new General Grievous torso with a BIONICLE minifig hand attached to its neck joint? Or similarly, a Battle Droid torso? I've seen some people use BIONICLE minifig hands on those 2x2 plates with an octagonal ring around them to create horrendous spider-like monstrosities.

The hilarious unintended uses for Friends parts are one of many reasons I'd like those parts to show up on LEGO Digital Designer.
