Needs More Paper

So, I said I'd get some pictures of my Harmaisis MOC up here today. Looks like I won't, though. The reason being is because I want to try and finish a few more smaller, less detailed MOC's of other Virtuous Ones, to compliment Harmaisis, and to give an impression of his followers. So, as you can imagine, my days been filled with MOCing. But not just that, I've been drawing a lot too, to a frustrating level as I'm still not seeing much improvement. I've been pestering people and roaming all over the net looking for tips but I still haven't produced a single thing I'm happy to look at.

But the reason I've been MOCing and drawing and doing a little bit of writing is because my mind's been buzzing. I'm yearning to create something, but nothing I create is making me happy to look at. It's insanely frustrating because as a result, I can't sit still.

I should probably say that drawing improvement is usually something you see from year to year, rather than from day to day. The only way to get through the developing phase is to completely accept that it is one, and start drawing for the sake of improving, rather than for the sake of making an aesthetically pleasing result, really.

(yeah sorry, I'm terrible at giving advice)

If you want to try and improve your drawing, have the image right beside a picture of what you're trying to draw, so you can put one piece of paper on top of the other every now and then to check how close it is.
