Mario is the face of video games, he has been around for 25 years, which makes him older than most of us. He is without a doubt the most recognizable and profitable face the gaming industry has ever had. While other companies and characters vanish into history or undergo horrible changes as they try to cling to existence(I'm looking at you Sonic), Mario remains the same.
