Hollywood was kinda sorta right

Sure, I doubt the world will end tomorrow, but I do know I get my semester grade cards tomorrow, and if I suspect correctly, my chemistry grade is going be... less than spectacular. And since I need to get straight A's or else colleges won't notice me (also my parents will kill me), I suspect it could the end of my world.

First world problems.

Also I just now realized this comes off as extremely bratty and stuck up. Really it's not, it's basically impossible for me to be bratty. I'll find a picture of a cat on my head to solve this problem.

Best of luck with those grades! I remember how much of a struggle chemistry was for me, but my less-than-steller grade still didn't effect my college choices. I don't know what your school system is like, but hopefully it won't be an issue for you either.

No, the issue isn't getting a flyer. I could care less about a flyer. The issue is that if I go to the nearby college and I don't have the best of grades, I get put much farther down on the list of "people we throw money at in the hopes that they become brilliant scientists one day and bring us lots of research grants."

So it's not about getting a flyer, it's about passing basic entry requirements, then getting noticed by the scholarship people, and then actually getting a scholarship and getting into the college.

But yeah, I phrased this entry in a horrible way, I should probably think of a better way to put things other than "people won't look at me!!!"

This blog is written by Alex Humva, penname of some random teenager named Alex Censored. He writes stories, writes rants, writes screenplays, plays games, makes games, has a terrible work ethic, and is generally sarcastic. He believes in a Judao-Christian god, but most other people who do too give him a glare because of his weird beliefs, possibly because he's somehow bi at the same time. He's an utter equalist who feels that any discrimination amongst humans for things they were born with is wrong. He doesn't care about xenos though, let them all burn.

He's also an aspiring engineer who hopes to get a scholarship at his local big engineering college and one day help humanity. More likely he'll be a pencil pusher in a basement somewhere, but he's a bloody minded optimist.

Because of his peculiar personality and beliefs, he gets into fights often, though they usually end when he wakes up the next morning and doesn't feel motivated anymore.
