Watched The Dark Knight Rises

Well, that was pretty epic. Sadly I watched the HISHE parody before seeing it so at the end I was so expecting Blake to find the Robin costume but alas, no such luck. The movie was definitely worth a couple bucks at Redbox and pretty enjoyable.

Makes me want to see a decent Justice League movie before I'm out of college. Only took the Avengers six years.

The Justice League movie is slated for summer of 2015.

(Which is probably suicide, as Star Wars Episode VII and Avengers 2 are also slated for that summer).

Oh wait, you said decent Justice League movie.

:kaukau: DeeVee...You monster. *slaps him* Justice League is awesome, and I've read some pretty deep stories with them.

Although yeah, I'm personally hoping that they push it back a year so that it doesn't have to compete with two established film juggernauts. Besides, releasing it only two years after their Man of Steel movie, which is the first instalment to their new cinematic universe, is a bit too soon.

I wouldn't want them to do a Justice League movie unless they can convince me that they've got a cleverer idea than 'The Avengers made a lot of money,' but as that movie portrayed some laughably impotent aliens as a credible threat, I'm not kidding myself that anybody has a clever idea.

[Yes, I enjoyed The Avengers. Doesn't mean the Chitauri were fit to invade Zimbabwe, much less the United States.]

This blog is written by Alex Humva, penname of some random teenager named Alex Censored. He writes stories, writes rants, writes screenplays, plays games, makes games, has a terrible work ethic, and is generally sarcastic. He believes in a Judao-Christian god, but most other people who do too give him a glare because of his weird beliefs, possibly because he's somehow bi at the same time. He's an utter equalist who feels that any discrimination amongst humans for things they were born with is wrong. He doesn't care about xenos though, let them all burn.

He's also an aspiring engineer who hopes to get a scholarship at his local big engineering college and one day help humanity. More likely he'll be a pencil pusher in a basement somewhere, but he's a bloody minded optimist.

Because of his peculiar personality and beliefs, he gets into fights often, though they usually end when he wakes up the next morning and doesn't feel motivated anymore.
