  3. honestly yeah it mostly consist of 'look how much money I have to buy lego/bionicle sets' no he hasn't gotten better.
  4. Don’t worry, you’re not missing out on much. He seems like a nice guy, but his content is pretty lazy, (imo) quite often being hours long of him just talking with little to no editing or cuts when needed. It’s been awhile since I’ve watched him, so I’m sure he’s improved since then, but it’s just not for me either way. He’s got a pretty cool collection, at the very least!
  5. I don't know, basically sometime he uses events on bzpower or even bzpower as references.
  6. 😂This made my day-*I want to belieeeve* Being a big fan of baby ducks, I waddled over hoping to learn of who Duckbricks was in <5 minutes with no brain expenditure, sad to see this feathered friend is not on BZP-but happy that this isn’t some part of BZP lore I’d lolloped over obliviously as usual, before. 🦆
  7. If he does, it might just be under a different name so people don't pester him here or an old account he no longer uses.
  8. Now that I'm more flexible with watching these livestreams, it's actually kind of nice that I had a chance to just chat a little bit about my own collection of Lego sets while you were building something. And while I do occasionally check brickset.com about Lego news, the announcement of those upcoming space theme collectible minifigures was recent enough that I had only just now heard about it, and now that I've taken a look, I'm beginning to consider possibly getting those as perhaps the only wave of collectible minifigures I may ever try to get all of them, let alone any of them. I do find it kind of strange that I'm once again apparently the only viewer using the chat, as I assumed it was builds like these that got other fellow members more interested. Eh, I guess that might change once awareness gets out there of this new schedule. Anyway, an interesting build this week, and I'll certainly be looking forward to what'll be on next week.
  9. that color scheme is unhinged and I love it...
  10. he has a eurobricks account but not a bzpower one
  11. Yesterday
  12. Love to see that sword piece get some use. Great colour scheme.
  13. As a Bionicle fan, he might visit even if he doesn't post. It could also be a leftover shortcut from the old days...
  14. I dunno, I just watched his latest video, and it seems he has a shortcut for bzpower.
  15. From what I understand he's insanely busy, so I imagine he doesn't have much time for that sort of thing.
  16. It is kind of weird when you think about it. Makes me wonder if he is even on other forums/fansites
  17. Marching along steadily, we've hit 5/6! Just one member of the Toa Motu to go...
  18. Okay this might be the most stupid question I have ever created, but is he on bzpower?
  19. Last week
  20. IC: Jeizmel, arriving in Tajun Her eyes widened every so slightly. First-name basis with the honoured Glatorian? Jeiz supposed that after journeying together to reach this place it made sense; but it still felt uncomfortable to her. So few in high positions in Iconox were worthy of her respect these days that she wanted to make sure to show it to one of the only ones who was. But respect was better expressed by honouring her wishes than continuing to address her with titles, wasn't it...? "As you ask... Vraek." It felt as foreign on her tongue as she had expected to not at least preface the warrior's name with a title, like she'd said something incredibly disrespectful. Still, she had asked, so Jeizmel tried hard not to let her discomfort show. At least the Glatorian's following words gave her a distraction from that feeling. "Of course I..." She hesitated, the instinctive response faltering on her tongue. Given her reputation back home, she felt like Vraek was entirely right to ask. "Yeah, I will. I know I'm a loud-mouth back in Iconox, but that's because I care about our tribe so much. Anywhere else, though, I've got no reason to go looking for trouble." Famous last words, perhaps. But she did mean them in the moment; even if her principles may couple with her recklessness to demand otherwise of her in the future. She smiled, genuinely, at the warrior. "Maybe I'll see you again before the tournament is over. Thank you for everything." @Toru Nui
  21. There's less than a week left to enter the 2024 Member Raffle #3 for a chance to win LEGO Star Wars buildable figure 75108 Clone Commander Cody from Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and nowhere else. If only they had made a TV series to show us his earlier adventures! Oh well, we'll have to be happy that we have this LEGO set of him. Good luck!View the full article
  22. Chapter 5 About six moons had passed. Wane had put behind him the monastery of the Order of Cognizant Creations, grateful for their hospitality and protection from his enemies, but the longer he had lingered, the more he had come to notice something indescribably but undeniably... wrong about them. First, his old friend Petunia was not to be found among their ranks. Father Progenitax must have noticed the hope in Wane's servo when he mentioned other Heroes, for he had to clarify: no Hero had joined their monastery in many years, much too long ago for any to have known Wane personally. So, then, his quest for Fall, if she remained to be found, would have to continue. But, Father Progenitax emphasized, his offer to join the Order remained. He had said: "Your protection would be total. That 'H' which I know remains on your chest would be no more." That, too, got Wane's attention. "Really?" he asked. It would be as if he had never been a Hero. He would never have to worry about being found out and forced to return to the Factory. Father Progenitax nodded, a warm and comforting gesture, even as Wane heard the scraping of gears within his neck. "Not only that, friend, but your very self will be rebuilt anew. No longer will you be Wane. No name, no want, no self." That did not inspire the same warm feeling in Wane. "No name?" he repeated. "What do you mean?" "Well, think about it logically," the Father spoke. "Isn't 'Gregory Wane' the name Makuro gave you? Why would you wish to keep it?" Wane did not answer. He was too busy trying to recall if he had mentioned his first name to Progenitax, and found the conclusion that he had not too disturbing to reach. Perhaps sensing he had alienated his young guest, the Father said gently, "Allow me to ask you one final question: did you think 'Father Progenitax' is what I was called when I was first built?" "I think I should like to take my leave." Wane had not meant to blurt it out like that, and worried he had offended his benefactor, but Progenitax simply laughed. Escorting him back to the monastery's entrance, Progenitax summoned the monk-bot to return Wane's dagger. In parting, he also offered closing words of advice: "You should be safe in town, but wait about ten moons before you try to leave. The Heroes will be monitoring the ships' manifests." "Understood," Wane replied. "Thank you, Father." Progenitax nodded in response, and Wane began his journey back to the settlement. *** The following moons passed uneventfully. Hero Craft continued to make occasional visits to the planet. Wane found under-the-table work in a reclamation center near the spaceport, which earned him enough credits to modify his faceplate, hands and feet. It was not enough to meaningfully change his build or voice, so if the Heroes knew exactly what to look for they would be able to spot him, but the mods made it safe enough to wander in public during the day. After another mundane moon passed, the foreman handed out their wages, stopping Wane. "I hate to admit it, but I've been calling ye by yer serial number this whole time," the foreman confessed. "Tell me, what'd ye say yer name was?" "I didn't, actually," Wane replied. "But you can call me Gix." "Gix," the foreman repeated. "Is that yer first name or yer last name?" Wane immediately replied, "Just Gix," before realizing he should have just lied and added a first name like "Bill." The foreman looked unsure, but did not press the issue. "Well, we'll see you tomorrow, Gix." "See you tomorrow," Wane repeated. He cashed in his credits as soon as he could. He could not tell exactly why, but something told him not to return the next day. Wane thought he had been covering his tracks, but he must have missed something. It was fully possible that Hero Factory had developed some protocol for tracking him down since he left, and even if they had not, he had never been making his plans with all the information anyway. He must have slipped up at some point, and now his old employer was suspicious. Fortunately, Wane had accounted for this precise situation and had set aside enough credits to leave town for one of the other settlements and purchase a seat on one of their transports. Enough time, he hoped, had passed to safely flee the planet. Where he would go next, he was not sure. As he walked through the desert, his belongings in a bag hanging at his side under his cloak, he considered stopping one final time at the monastery. Though it felt strange to admit, he felt as though he could have used something of Progenitax's maybe-enlightened, maybe-insane words. He thought it better not to risk drawing to them any unwanted Hero attention, in case he was being tracked by someone. He settled for merely nodding in the monastery's general direction as he passed it. When he turned the other way and squinted, dialing his optical receptors as far as they could go, he detected his destination just on the horizon. It would be a long, cold night of walking, but he felt he had more than worn out his welcome on RF-34. Review Topic
  23. IC/ Skrall/ Bonehunter Stronghold/ Markets/ “May enough of them think that logically.” she commented. The scout was right - but so were skrall and skrall. Just because Roxtus and the tower had made a deal that wasn’t an absolute guarantee. Despite the intertwined history and rock tribe origin - the bone hunters weren’t a monolith. And come to think of it…neither were skrall. This group alone was proof, including herself. She glanced around at her companions. Cynics, true believers, outsiders…revolutionaries? The sudden thought caused the usually stoic fighter’s mouth to drop open a fraction. There was an angle to this mission she hadn’t considered before - even though they had all openly guessed at its purpose already. Revolutionary? No, not in a political sense. Perhaps…evolutionary, then? Yes, it made sense. And explained why Tirveus would send a group of volunteers like them. Maybe the tournament was merely a crucible to burn away the slag. This wasn’t about glory in battle and a name for the legends. Winning against the other tribes wasn’t the objective - or at least not the primary one. So even the possible outcome of Skrall facing each other was logical. This was about finding out what kind of Skrall could prevail in the South. Maybe Tirveus was planning to conquer it all. Maybe not. But he still would need to know what kind of soldiers he would need to ensure skrall superiority. She needed a moment to let that sink in. But standing around flabbergasted at her revelation wasn’t a good look, so she made her way over to where their Spikit wagons were being loaded, hoping her change in demeanor hadn’t been too obvious. She returned with a handful of rations and water that she started distributing among her peers. “Here. Stay hydrated. Keep up your energy.” OOC: Hope this doesn't read too much like her jumping to a conclusion. Debated making this much longer and more detailed, but in the interest of time and keeping up posting momentum I opted for the more direct version. @a goose@BULiK@Nato G@Burnmad@Mel@Toru Nui@oncertainty
  24. IC: Lutenus (Outskirts of Atero, Training Ground) - That Two Minute Training Match Lasted Almost One Year “That is correct. I don’t believe we’ve wasted any serious amount of time. Although…” Lutenus’ cybernetic eye whirred around, as if taking stock of the position of the sun and clouds in the sky. “I believe it would be prudent to leave as soon as possible.” The eye then snapped to face Mard and Ahmoa, his face following after a short delay. “Thank you for your service, gentlemen.” He then trudged over to them to hand back the dulled axe to Ahmoa. OOC: I realized upon re-reading earlier posts that Lutenus asked earlier what the price was for an hour, and Mard pointed towards a sign with the prices, but at no point did Lutenus actually give them any money, though he did fetch some coin out of his pocket when he asked. I’d like to say he did give them the money, I just forgot to mention it. @oncertainty @Techn0geist IC: Taldrix (Bone Hunter Stronghold, the Tower) - The Old Country “You’re looking for something in the canyons.” She said aloud, looking over the map. “You believe that there might be remnants of the old civilization out there?” Was he really only assuming control of the Gatherers just to search for answers? What happened to his people, and if he’s the only one left? What would he do if he wasn’t the last of his race, and found more of them out there? Would he abandon his position among the Gatherers to join them? No, no, anyone with his intelligence would never give up power that easily. But what if his fellow Great Beings didn’t care much for the Gatherers? After all, their very name implied that Agori were lesser beings. Taldrix couldn’t blame the Ghost for disliking that epithet. But at least it wasn’t sanctimonious slander like ‘Bone Hunter’ was. If it were bones she was interested in, she’d have stayed in Roxtus. In any case, she couldn’t trust that whatever the Ghost was spending precious manpower and resources to find existed, and that it wouldn’t be bad for her if it did. ‘Answers to the questions that plagued them both?’ Well. They’d see, wouldn’t they? @a goose
  25. I got them in the the mail a few weeks ago the tridax is made from a transparent plastic not abs and is painted. So I thought I found a source for the leeches awhile ago however I was unable to verify that the person was a lego designer or someone passing themselves as one.
