Info: The theme this year will be Takanuva, in celebration of the 10th anniversary of Bionicle: Mask of Light the movie!
 
Rules: Your design must be a simple design, and must be medium sized. You may post your entries in this thread.
 
The Prize: The maker of the winning design will receive a free T-Shirt!
 
That's about it. The contest will run now until the end of May. So please help BZPower look awesome at BrickFair 2013!

 ]]> Sun, 28 Apr 2013 21:26:35 +0000 I'm trying so hard to find words or put together sentences to explain my feelings about seeing my most favorite film in a theater. The film that has impacted my life and inspired me so much, as well as the reason for half of my screenname. I was 2 yrs old when it was released, and now I had the chance to experience for myself what others had 20 yrs ago, but even better.
I might even go again, and this time bring other friends and family so that they may enjoy it just as much as I. Heck. If I could. I'd bring all you fine fellows with me!
 
If are planning to or have already seen it, I hope that that you enjoy(ed) it just as much as I have my entire life.

And yet Ninjago and Chima get entire seasons.
Why does LEGO care so little about this series?
 
I left this comment after watching the new Hero Factory "Webisode". Which is just Hero Factory episode 9. On the video hosting site I left it on I received a couple replies, and to my surprise none of were negative. They were all positive towards my response.
If you wish to see why I made this comment, and why I and many others feel this way. I suggest you watch this "webisode" and see for yourself.
 
However there will be a series of books written by the great Greg Farshtey, as well as rumors that there may be more episodes for this year, but that doesn't help the fact that this whole event that they were advertising to be a huge battle, wasn't huge at all. It was seriously underwhelming. It's as if they made any one of the Bionicle movies 20 minutes long.
 
It seems like LEGO is caring less and less every year. It was disappointing enough that there was only two episode for last year, and only half of that years sets were featured.
 
Perhaps I'll dive into this more later. I don't know. I'm just hoping I can be more active around BZP.

Now I can start planning on shirts for this year. I'm going to try to lower the price for the shirts for this year, and hopefully more people will be able to afford them.
 
Speaking of BrickFair. I recently registered and paid for BrickFair VA. Plus I was able to reserve a room. Can't wait.
 
P.S. I realized that my name changed back on it's own. I guess it wasn't meant to be?

Now I feel more comfortable with the name that I had earned, and has a lot of meaning to me as well. If it doesn't work out, I can change it back later

Actually I've been wanting to ask how people feel about how LEGO discontinued the discounts for BrickFair attendees. I know that they announced it in their email newsletter, but I wanted to see if people would still go to the LEGO store during BrickFair without the discount. Personally I probably would. I can't help being a Hero Factory fan. So I would do what I did last year, and build all the summer sets for everyone to see.
 
And seeing the new trailer for Brain Attack, it looks like there might be some larger sets this year. Boy do I miss building huge those Bionicle models. Why are Hero Factory sets so tiny?

Forum wise My trading topic died, which may be because there aren't as many people who want to buy/sell/trade as there was in the golden years. I'm not sure whether I should open a new trading topic or not. Sometimes it makes me feel like an animal living near a shrinking watering hole in a drought.
 
I want to apologize for not keeping up with the blogs I follow. Especially Takanuvia's. I'm super sorry.
 
I myself haven't written an entry on any site in a while is, because well.... I feel as though I don't have anything to say. Once again I feel that nervousness and tension about writing how I am and how I feel. Should I do it for myself, for others, of for both? Will good come from doing so?
 
One thing that has perked my interest is the continuation of the Bionicle story, and the little bits and pieces members are finding and piecing together. I fear though that the Bionicle story will never be fully complete, and feel some regret in having so many side plots and characters we love and enjoy that may never have a resolution or ending. It's bothered me a lot lately.
