This episode had a great beginning, though it's kind of a shame that Accelerator's fights have to be so brief. The rest of the episode really emphasized a concern I had before the season began--we know how the Sisters arc goes (That is, unless you haven't seen or heard of Index. (Though that being said, everything ends the same way in Index. (By which I mean Touma punches everyone on the face. (And now you know)))) and Kuroko, Uiharu and Saten just aren't at all involved. It's kind of odd to have an arc in which all but one of the main characters are pushed to the sidelines, but I guess it's working so far. The next episode seems to focus on those three, at least....

Still, good episode.

The Office is over

I thought the finale was great. I think just about every character had a fitting resolution, even Andy, who worried me the most.

It was really a great show.

Blackadder

I've been watching Blackadder on and off for a few months now. I enjoyed the first two series moderately, but Blackadder the Third was simply brilliant. I found it hilarious. I've now seen a third of Blackadder Goes Forth, and I now realize I only have four episodes left. So that sucks.

I don't know when I'll be able to finish, though. My older sister is kind of a prude, especially concerning religion. She saw part of a series one episode (If you've seen it, you know the one) and thus banned me from ever watching it again. (Not that I listened, of course, on account of that episode being nothing like a representative of the whole.) So I've had to watch it very sparingly.

Still, four episodes. That is so little.

Great show, though. I find Hugh Laurie particularly hilarious (That said, it took me seven episodes to realize Hugh Laurie was Hugh Laurie. I mean, I knew it was Hugh Laurie. I just didn't realize Hugh Laurie was Hugh Laurie. I am not a very actor-savvy guy. I think it was the wig)

The Office

So since there are only two episodes left of The Office, I'm just going to say some things about Andy.

This last season is definitely a lot better than the eight, but I just...Andy was one of my favorite characters pre-S8. Even during season 8 I thought he wasn't terrible. But this season just turned him into the complete worst person ever. It just kind of saddens me that after becoming one of the nicest characters of the show during the seasons preceding the eight, here he was just forced into a vaguely antagonistic and humiliating role, eventually culminating in him doing things to his boss's car I would rather forget. The last episode ended in a hopeful note for him, but it's still kind of tough to take seriously considering the show has spent the entire season ripping up his character.

There's also the issue of his relationship with Erin, which was broken up due to, well, the new Andy behavior, and Pete. Pete just bothers me. He has no real quirks, no flaws...he's just there to be better than Andy. I guess he succeeds, but he still stands out in the cast as a character who really doesn't have a "thing" going for him--other than stealing Andy's girlfriend, he doesn't do much. And considering that Andy and Erin's relationship had been a storyline since season 6, it just strikes me as a poor move. I would have rather seen Andy redeemed in this season, not vilified. It really just kind of feels like they are treating Andy as the representation of the eight season, and by ruining him, they're apologizing or something? It bothers me.

Maybe the last episodes will make it all better. Maybe not.

_{(Parks and Rec is still pretty amazing though. Kind of a shame that show's Andy won't show as much next season)}
