Problem with Image Links

In the past day or so I've noticed an odd problem with images that hold links. Whenever I click on an image with an embedded link, my popup bocker would activate and, when I told it to allow the popup, the image that contained the link would be opened in another window rather than the link itself being followed.
After I changed my settings to allow popups from BZP, however, when I now click on an image with a link, the link will be followed in a new window, but the image itself will also open again in a second window. Strangely, this only happens on my laptop (IE 9) and not my desktop (IE 7).
You can also see people talking about the issue in this blog entry. It appears DeeVee doesn't have this problem, but people like Lyichir and Chols do.

I haven't had this problem. I've tested it in all of the browsers on my laptop (IE9, Firefox, Chrome), and haven't seen a problem like this.
Huh... Recently when I click pictures with links, normally it will open up two new tabs instead of one.

Yep, this is a known issue with the upgrade. It should be fixed with the next release.
Perhaps this JavaScript can be removed or commented out until then?

So clicking on my banner causes the image to open twice in 2 separate tabs and a third tab for the link.

This issue should be fixed now. Please let me know if you see any instances of it occurring.

Yep, still happening
So image links seem to work fine for me. The problem seems to be plain old images are clickable and sometimes open the image twice.
Oh, yeah, was testing for the wrong thing. Whoops.
