I wonder whether "rewrite" means rewriting a book that hasn't yet been published (in which case I'd assume it was a book for next year's story) or updating a book that has been published (in which case it could very well be an update of last year's Ninjago Official Guide).

Also, I'm pretty sure I know which 2013 theme he'll be writing for. And if I'm right, it's one more thing that could potentially make me start collecting that theme. You hear that Lego? It's working! It's like I have no free will of my own anymore!

Many of them have been published overseas in other languages but have yet to be released in any English-speaking countries. Which doesn't make much sense, considering I assume Greg's writing them in English.

I did ask him what he was doing besides Ninjago and Hero Factory work, and he still gave me this answer.

• "The Master of Earth" from the guide book Cole.
• "The Master of Lightning" from the guide book Jay.
• "Quest for the Golden Weapons", which was divided between the activity books The Chosen Four and Spinning Power.
• "Cold Reception" and "The Bravest Ninja of All" from the guide book The Bravest Ninja of All.
• "Snakes in the Grass" and "The Keys to Victory" from the guide book Snakes in the Grass.
• "Who Needs a Hug?" and "Nothing in the Dark" from the guide book Nothing in the Dark.
• "The Surprise" and "Farm of Fear" from the guide book Farm of Fear.
• "Snakes on the Brain" from the activity book Ninja Versus Hypnobrai.
• "It's Hard to be a Snake" from the activity book Ninja Versus Fangpyre.
• "Snake's Honour" from the activity book Ninja Versus Constrictai.
• "To Save the Sensei" from the activity book Ninja Versus Venomari.

Now, many of these stories have been published in the UK by Ladybird (though the Ladybird guide books are two-in-one, so I'm not sure if they still would include all four stories from the two continental European guide books), as well as in Poland by AMEET and in Germany by Nelson. So many of them do exist in English. The real question is whether they will ever be available in the US, whether online or in hard copy, or if they have to be ordered from overseas.
