I don't know which one I like more, your first 'green' landscape or this one. As I said before, you should really do more of these. 
I must say, though, that the silhouettes of the trees in the foreground look a bit off to me in this one. Like a couple on the left, particularly the big grey one, which seem to have some blur that doesn't seem to fit. My little nitpick.

it was a custom brush i used, and for some reason the people have a weird blur to them. i tried to sharpen there apperance but had lots of trouble

The trees in the foreground seem a bit off to me as well, but the rest is absolutely, mind-blowingly fantastic.
The only weird part is the obvious circle tool smears on top of the buildings at the edge of the gorge. Other than that, it looks great. thumbup.gif
That looks really good. Much better than anything I could draw, for sure.

thank you guys for the comments. on the flaws...this is only a speedpaint. it took me about three hours. i wanted to focus on the overall picture and mood, rather than get distracted and spend hours trying to fix minor things
Wow... Your artwork never ceases to amaze me. *saves as wallpaper* And as Lloyd said, it does remind me a little of LotR, particularly of the Black Gate.
I wish I had at least a fraction of your talent.
