You mean the red/grey box with the text that says 'online' or 'offline'?If it was re-implemented, I'd like to see the current "online/offline" symbols. I think they flow better than the UDD symbol.
UPDATE - I was able to add the current indicators in. If we want the old UDD symbols though it's going to take a little more work.

Maybe you could post the snippet of code for the online indicator in posts here?
Personally, I think the UDD symbol would look better, this one takes up too much space. If we keep this one, though, I'd prefer it after the username and not before.

I personally think the gold UDD symbol would clash horribly with the rest of the boards. The current indicator is simple enough for new members to understand, and flows seamlessly with the aesthetics (although I agree that it would be better AFTER the username).Is it? I can't image it being that hard. Furthermore, once it's done I figure there should be fewer lines of code than before.

Like I said, not easily. The code to specify the position does not actually specify the image, so I have to figure out where that is (probably somewhere in the CSS).Might it be possible to reinstate the old UDD images? I agree with -Reznas- here - it seems pretty cluttered.

I suggest you impliment that, yes. I also think it would be helpful if when you mouse over the UDD Symbol it says "Online" or "Offline". Although this would require extra coding.

I wouldn't change it in the hover-card, though, as I fear it could mess up the layout, though I'd be fine with either way. Same for the profiles.
To avoid confusion, maybe let the image say "online" or "offline" when hovering it? Also, the UDD symbol doesn't appear in PMs.
