Hooray, my prophecy was not in vain, every blog post since then has been about it. Now I won't look silly.
Also wise words of wiseness.
So, to recap, we have the scattered remnants of both armies still skirmishing with each other and everyone else appears to have been affected by some sort of insanity-causing bioweapon.
BZP is now Fallout. I'm calling it.
And I completely agree with this.
BZP. BZP never changes. Since the dawn of human kind, when our ancestors first discovered the complaining power of words and politics, feelings have been hurt in the name of everything: from God to justice to simple, psychotic rage. In the year 2012, after millennia of armed conflict, the destructive nature of members could sustain itself no longer. The website was plunged into an abyss of nuclear fire and political opinions. But it was not, as some had predicted, the end of the world. Instead, the apocalypse was simply the prologue to another whiny chapter of BZP history. For member had succeeded in aggravating the admins - but BZP, BZP never changes. In the early days, thousands were spared the horrors of the ‘discussion’ by taking refuge in enormous underground shelters, known as the forums. But when they emerged, they had only the griping of the blogs to greet them - all except those in Shine’s blog. For on that fateful day, when fire rained from the sky, the giant steel link of Shine’s blog slid closed... and never reopened. It was here you commented. It is here you will be banned. Because, in Shine’s blog: no one ever enters, and no one ever leaves.

And so as madness descended upon the Blogs, the remnants of one of the armies...fled. Using their Vertibirds and aircraft to flee across the ocean to an isolated oil rig, outlasting the rain of nuclear fire and the insanity that consumed the blog...
