heat exhaustion bites

Don't get heat exhaustion. It sucks. I had it today, almost passed out until a couple of friends ran to get a physical trainer. Then I ended up spending three hours in the physical trainer's room because I was so messed up and kept starting to get better then getting worse again, and they were worried that if I left, I'd end up passing out somewhere and no one would be able to help me. I'm still kind of dizzy. Not a good day....

Argh. I have to play baseball, outside, in long navy blue socks, in pants, in 85 degree weather.

However, here's a Boy Scouts tip: pinch your arm, so that some skin comes up. If it STAYS up, go get some water, fast.

Yeah, right now most people on the team are going with the bare minimum of shorts, tank tops, etc., but even then, it's still roasting. I almost jumped into the steeplechase water pit yesterday because it was just that hot out. And that water is nasty.

I'll keep that in mind during my workout tomorrow. Thanks!
