I feel like there are already enough LEGO-based forums on the site already. It is a Bionicle-based site after all.

I would argue that there's little difference between Bionicle creations and Hero Factory creations. If there's significant interest we might consider it, but not otherwise.
The other problem with splitting a forum is that you run the risk of killing its activity, not having enough activity in the new forum, or both.
The other problem is, what if I make a MOC that has both Bionicle and HF parts in it? Where would I put it?
You raise a very valid point, maybe some other criterium is necessary to organize it?
Yeah that's what I thought. I have made a few HF MOCs with Bionicle parts in it, but I consider it HF.
