The first quote reminds me of a BIONICLE comic review written by a non-BIONICLE fan, which I once found online. It was written by a comic book reviewer who wanted to review something fun and lighthearted and happened upon a 2002 BIONICLE comic, which, being a LEGO license, had to be some kid-friendly romp, right? He expressed disappointment to find a super-serious robot comic with names that looked like they came straight from a KGB hit list.
