Assassin's Creed 4 announced for 2013 - 2014

I think I read somewhere that Ubisoft mentioned if the game takes place in a new setting and with a new protagonist, then it counts as a new number in the series. I'd have to go searching for some citation for that, though.

Well clearly you are a wrong person and you should sit there in your wrongness and accept the fact you are wrong. Wrong.

Nah, I can understand if you do like him. I just found him a rather bland character to follow, especially as a replacement to Ezio. As I said in another blog entry, after reading Assassin's Creed: Forsaken, I decided that I would much rather have followed Haytham for the entirety of the game from his origin rather than Connor's. But still, I did really enjoy a scene of Connor's during the epilogue, which I won't describe, but will say that it did perfectly encompass his maturity as a character. It's a pity that it sounds like we won't be seeing any more of him now that he appears to have grown up.
