Totem

The sheer number of people Christopher Nolan brought over from inception...You know, I don't always like that, and I didn't like Marion Cottilard as Miranda Tate. It just didn't seem right for the role, and it ticks me off that he used her just because of favoritism. This reminds me of the directors in my high school, and boy did I hate how they chose the same people again and again, even for roles that didn't fit them, even when there were other better options, and I know how that made me feel. On one hand, there are certain teams that are classic, like Spielberg and Williams, but most really just downgrade my opinions of both members.

Ahaha, no it's fine! I like, really just noticed that when I rewatched it. I was like, doing double takes the whole time, like "Hey, I've seen them before!" =/ Like, since he brought Marion Cotillard to play Miranda Tate, I can't really picture anyone else playing her, it's weird. But she is a brilliant actress, regardless.

Also, down with favoritism, for the record. I'm not involved much with my high school's drama team, but I've noticed that coaches have favorites. You're never safe.
