Lohkar looked up and choked in his drink. There, second in the queue, was a rather familiar Skakdi - none other than Raknar, an old...contemporary of his.
Lohkar grinned, rum trickling from his chin. "Fancy seein' you 'ere, Raknar! Come ta join me crew? What 'appened t'the Fist?"

"I left the captain for you." Odhran said sheepishly. "But I guess you're right. I didn't need your help." he said as he started heading towards where the rum would be kept. "Take out the captain and you get half the treasure." Odhran said. "I'll be right back, just need to check out the ship and see if it's a keeper."

"I just thought the crew I beat up would be a bit stronger!" Odhran called from below deck.

"I thought that the crew that I just beat up without your help would be stronger!" Odhran shouted forming his words carefully. "I thought that I would need your help, but it turned out that the crew on this ship was really weak! I in no was meant to call you weak." he walked back onto the deck with a bottle of rum.
OOC:
So is the ship a keeper or a sinker TDC?

"Well him not being here makes the takeover that much easier." Odhran said, offering Moylan some rum. "So what do you think, keeper or sinker?"
"...it's a terrible day for rain."

"Well if it's not a good ship then why would we take it? What if it's such a bad ship that it breaks while we're on it? That happened to me once, never again I tell you, never again." Odhran said with a shudder. "But if you like it then let's set sail!" Odhran said with a large grin as he grabbed the steering wheel.
OOC:
Feel free to snatch the wheel from his grasp. With his direction I wouldn't blame you.

"Anywhere but Ta-Koro." Odhran said with a grin. He activated his powers, giving the ship a breeze to sail on while he went into the captain's room. "Take the wheel Moylan, I need to bring the loot up to the deck in order that we may split it."
"...it's a terrible day for rain."

"Okay then, let's go!" Odhran said as he came out of the captain's quarters with a bag of widgets. He then proceeded to loot every room he could find for gold and or valuables. He then finally came back onto the deck. "Okay, let's see what we have here... One hundred widgets, and a few other valuable accessories. What do you want? You can have first pick, although this was a small amount compared to most ships."
OOC:
There's mostly stuff like jewelry, along with the previously mentioned one hundred widgets. I'm gonna say it was a trading ship. Or something like that.

Odhran grabbed the remaining jewelry and the widgets, which amounted to half the loot. "Okay, so should I take the wheel or do you want to pilot us there?" Odhran asked his swordswoman.
OOC:
Next up, Navigator.

"And I'm not that good with directions..." Odhran said. "We need a navigator next." he decided, steering the ship towards Po-Koro on accident.

Odhran ignored Moylan's jibe and piloted the ship to Po-Koro.
OOC:
Odhran to Po-koro.

In hot-ish pursuit, the pirate began to make the ship follow them. He had Falchions at the ready, were they to be hostile.

Lantz was rather angry. He had made the trip to Ga-Wahi expecting payment for some of his... activities, and yet his employers had been nowhere to be found. So, naturally, he had gone to the harbor and had some fun sinking the occasional boat with his Elemental abilities.
Lantz activated his mask and grew to a whopping size, nearly 30 feet in height.
"I am Lantz, Sinker of Ships" he roared. "Who would have me stop?" Lantz yelled to no one in particular.

IC (Black Spot Inn):
Lohkar -- for he was the interviewer here, much to Raknar's surprise -- met the Skakdi of Stone's surprised gaze. And coughed mid-sip. Smooth.
Wiping some of the drink from his chin, the Lesterin grinned. "Fancy seein' you 'ere, Raknar! Come ta join me crew? What 'appened t'the Fist?"
Not that they had been friends before; they hadn't. Rivals was more like it: They had both been raiders, both captained infamous ships, and thus it had been all but impossible for conflict to not emerge. Throughout their careers they had been sure to strike nearby towns, each one timing raids so the other would arrive in time to see his ship escaping.
In a nutshell: They'd had some fun times.
Raknar grinned back, though it didn't reach his eyes. "I kinda... lost the Raknar's Fist," he admitted. "Or maybe it lost me. I dunno, there were too many Vahki in the way at the time for me t' see too clearly. And, yeah, I'm applyin'. Just like the good ol' days, right?"
Which was a challenge, not a friendly reminiscence. The "good ol' days" had been filled with competition. To Raknar, at least, it translated to roughly Darn right you're gonna hire me, and I'm gonna show you up, too.

"Good they were," Lohkar agreed. "My condolences about your ship."
Which, of course, meant, That's right, who's the big boy now?
Lohkar considered making Raknar First Mate just for the satisfaction of pushing him about as much as possible.
"Any special skills - " he asked, " - oh wait, never mind." He chuckled. "Y'know I don' mean it, mate. D'you think we need ta go through this rigmarole, or shall I just put ya down an' get on with the rest?"

IC: Knidia gazed in alarm at the suddenly giant figure, before rolling her eyes. Clearly he was an amateur, just in it for the notoriety. Someone who really wanted to destroy the village would have just got on with it. And they wouldn't have grown to such large size whilst in a village made of lilypads and bamboo. It took Knidia a little effort to manipulate the water under the giant's feet into forming a saw, cutting through the plantlife beneath his feet. He'd fall into the sea, negating any size advantageIC:

IC:(Agarin): "Love to stay and chat," Agarin said, "But I think I'm gonna wander around for awhile." He picked up the stool, returned it, and went about his way.
OOC: Other interaction please.

IC: Athos watched as Knidia wielded her power against the giant. "I wanna be able to do that." He said to himself.

"Thanks," said Raknar, "but I'll tell ya my skills anyway. I don't wanna put myself too far ahead of the others, now, y'know?"
Meaning... well, exactly what he said.
He cleared his throat importantly. "I was captain of a ship," he began, just to bug Lohkar with the obvious; "I'm strong as anythin', handy with my axe, 'n' not too shabby of a captain." He coughed to punctuate the last sentence, nodded with a last smile to Lohkar, and stepped away to let Athillion reach the desk.
Surely Lohkar wouldn't throw Raknar's application away just for old times' sake; after all, Raknar was an experienced sailor, a strong leader, and quite handy with an axe (as he said himself, of course). The Lesterin captain would have to be daft to refuse such a colored history; and, besides which, they didn't hate each other enough to kill over it.
But then, he wondered from the side of the line, what would Lohkar kill over?

IC (Lohkar)
Which was a very good question.
Except for the fact that you lost your precious ship, Lohkar thought. Still. I know he's a good pirate, and if nothing else it'll be fun to see how he likes having me in charge.
He nodded to Raknar as he moved away, and sat back in his chair as the next person approached.
"An' what's your story?" Lohkar asked, sounding bored.
