I just want to be able to fight on even terms for once. Of course, I died at the end of this round, which is better than last time. Haven't seen one of these in a long time... We were pretty equal, though admittedly X could've used a few more things to his advantage than others; though others did too, really. Also, at least you actually lasted to the end of the game, and got to get a result that wasn't death... Voltex Posted February 1, 2014 Author Share Posted February 1, 2014 (edited) ROUND 3You all grudgingly said thank-you to Voltex as he helped you all across the subspace bridge from death to life and back to death and then finally back to life again, dropping you off again in Ko-Wahi. Deciding to set aside your feud from the ship for the time being, you re-group and spin the dial on the compass, which always points east. Since going east is obviously a terrible idea, you all decide to go west. After many long, weary days of travel, Chro and Blade found a book and decided to share it with the rest of their former team. Feeling excluded, the others burned the book and used its ashes to create and time travel destination portal with rainbows device and pushed Team Guide to the Galaxy inside. That would have been the end of it, except that Dapper Man's shockwave accidentally knocked all of Team Rainbow Six Vegas in as well, so now you were all tumbling through subspace when suddenly you all collapsed at the bottom of a large tower. The self-defense systems of the tower immediately activated and you all jumped onto the nearest platform while the floor dropped away from underneath you. Realizing that you were all currently spread out among three separate height levels, a quick test from JL and JiMing quickly proved that those on separate levels cannot battle each other! Lame, right? Too bad there aren't any SELF-DEFENSE SYSTEMS ON EVERY ONE OF THE THIRTY DIFFERENT LEVELS TRYING TO KILL YOU!! Oh wait, there are. Please excuse me. You all realize that it's not getting to the top that matters - actually, it does, because the first one there gets a bonus Ultimate Weapon. However, you can only traverse one level per day. Oh, and that ultimate weapon we promised you all up above? Yeah, we're just assuming the first person to reach Level 7 gets the ultimate weapon for this round, because they'd have to be the Last Man Standing to do it. Since, y'know, you can't enter Level 7 unless everyone else is dead. Good luck! Dapper Man sighed in relief as the beam bounced away, while the other fighters ducked and dodged around it as several other mirrors all over Level 2 activated, reflecting the beam in a chaotic path around the level. Dapper Man blinked and that was when the last mirror activated, reflecting the beam right into his back and dealing 3 damage. The wolf leapt up three floors, landing near Ehks and Canis. I jumped onto the wolf, and grabbed Ehk's arm, pulling him back onto the wolf. "Let's go up. They were large enough to block, say, a sword blow or two, but they couldn't cover our entire bodies. The wolf, though, was decked out. The armor on it was covered in spikes, perfect for ramming into people, and it even had a windshield for us to be protected while riding it!
