Well, they can't control poison, but they can control poisonous plants. Yes, there is a difference. They can't control poison by itself, they need a plant to go with it (ex: poison-spitting plant or something similar).

True, but the Toa would have to maintain control of the "Cloud" or it would just dissipate, right?
On another topic, shouldn't the ILF/FoM Battle have started yet? Or at least some pre-requisite? Because not a single member of the FoM i.e. Echelon or Xerov or Aurum et cetera has posted there for at least two pages. I'm not complaining, just curious.

It's true. I would imagine that the power doesn't quite stretch to controlling the reproductive agent of the plant. After all, it's only half the DNA. Pollen=/=Plant.

But Pollen is made up of plant cells. I think pollen is a plant. I wouldn't complain about a toa of plantlife using pollen.

But poisonous pollen clouds... maybe if they used up all your EE. And you only used it once in your life when you needed it.

Pollen may have similar cells, yes, but each of those cells is the same as [redacted] for most animal's reproduction. Only has about half the DNA. Then, of course, we have the egg within the other parts of the flower which becomes the seed.

Basically, the way I would run it, is that if it isn't full plant, you can't control it.

Well, the only thing is that pollen is in the air. You would need to control the air to control this gas cloud, and the Toa of Plantlife cannot really do that. As for pollen being created....well, I don't see why Toa of Plantlife can't do it. They don't just control plants - they control nature and its life. So why pollen is uncontrolled? I'm sure they can also get plants to release pollen.

@Norik, We're all waiting for The Mask, although I can get Aurum to interact for a bit to other FoM members.

Yeah, I apologize. I was in a rush, but I have now changed that post. Very nasty variety of stinging nettle wood now.

Well, it's overused for a reason. However, I'd rather see tickle-inducing plants, or sneeze-inducing plants.

The thing about Madu, I'm guessing, is that it's one of the named and known explosive plants. Other plants with similar effects or effects of the same magnitude? Nobody knows their name - This would mean that the Toa might not know what they want to create, unlike with other elements.

I can't see a Toa just going "BAM! I summon a plant which will cause a smokescreen!" and then "Wait! I don't know it's name, it's looks, it's size, I don't know anything except it's use!" and still create that plant for use. However, a Toa can be like "Oh, Madu. Boom."

Ah, but ya see, these DON'T explode. Unless exposed to heat, say from a certain Toa of Plasma I'm about to tangle with. In which case they act like a firebomb, flaming seeds going everywhere. A toa of plantlife could explode them too, but they would just be seeds. The seeds wouldn't do much damage in any case, but..,

Ya ever see those plants with seed pods that when you touch em they chuck their seeds everywhere? Basically a big version of that. They require heat though, so in Onu-Koro a fire is pretty much needed, especially because then they get laced with flame.

I can vouch for their existence. The seeds get in shoes and annoy the karz outta me.

Every move except Energy Ball, Solarbeam, the Drain attacks, GrassWhistle and Ingrain MIGHT work.

I doubt the health-restoring ones such as Leech Seed would have much effect though.

The spore based ones I don't know.
