These MOCs are all made in Lego Digital Designer Extended, and except three at the end, are all from Halo: Combat Evolved, with research on a particular fansite I probably can't mention and looking at it in the game (I have the PC version). In a few places where the original design was boring I borrowed details from later Halo games.

Of the above I started with the Flood forms, to establish scale since they used minifig parts. Then I tried to make a Grunt, but it turned out waaay too huge compared to the Flood. I do like it, though, so just consider it a macro-scale version. Plus I made a macro-scale Needler, which I'm quite fond of.

While I was at it, I made three characters from the books, which I've read, though they aren't from CE. Leftmost is Kelly-087 (SPARTAN-II), middle is Kurt-051 (SPARTAN-III), and right is Dr. Catherine Halsley.

(I may or may not make more Halo-based MOCs in the future. :P The vehicles might be fun... and maybe a micro-scale Halo... hm...)

Comments/criticism welcome.

The Sentinel was epic, and Private Jenkins was hilarious (it was the face). Pretty nice job overall. Would it be possible to cover up that little gap between the lower-leg and the foot on the Hunter, though?

If the above post doesn't make sense, it's because I'm short on sleep.

PM me if you play multiplayer Halo I, Halo CE, Star Wars Battlefront I, Rome: Total War, Republic Commando, Forces of Corruption, Battle For Middle Earth II, and/or Lord of the Rings Online on the PC.
Black Six is really generous with the Proto, you know? Just look at my bar.

Given the Sentinel, you already made the Sentinel Beam, right?

I'm not even a fan of Halo, and yet I still recognize these characters. They look like scale models, with just a few disporportionate parts, like the guns. I particurlarly like the Spartan.

Why are orange and black such a good color Combination ? Purple is pretty, and so is blue. Pink hurts your eyes, green is quite mellowing, black is very threatning, red is cool, orange is SO awesome, yellow's hard to read... But you can't see white at all! Oh, wait. I forgot brown.

Here's my thoughts: If a person tells the truth and says, " I always lie," Is he lying? Or is he telling the truth? And what has a mouth, but no head, and a body, but no torso? Do caterpillars like to tend to supporting colum of stone's every need? Or is that name misleading by nature? Speaking of nature, why are the children of animals called offspring? don't many young beasts come alive in spring, and thus, should be called onspring? Heeeeeeyy..... I got the first post on a page for the first time. Who knows; it may happen again. What the... It did happen again... and again...

YEAH! I'M ENCOUNTERING PROTODERMIS!

LDD Extended mode. See here. :)

Yeah, the Hunter is especially disproportionate too; he should be about 3/4 that size, but close enough, heh.

Given the Sentinel, you already made the Sentinel Beam, right?

Well, I'm not really sure how that is held, and as far as I can find, it wasn't in CE. The end of it is there, but the base (the part connecting to the Sentinel) is kinda lame here. It may look alright as the center of the current MOC, but on its own I think the simplicity would look awkward. :shrugs: I'll probably try to modify it anyways sometime.

I guess I can think of a way to partially cover it. I'll try it sometime.

These look pretty good bonesiii, though my main complaints are the giant hero cores on Master Chief and the Marines, as well the very thin Hunter legs.

You did great on all of them, but the sentinel is just awesome. The hunter is also cool, but the legs look slightly off from the ones in-game.

Sadly, school and other forums are limiting my activity here.

If I'm not logged in and posting, however, I'll still have BZP open as a tab in Chrome.

The hunter's legs are a little spindly, but over all, great job, particularly on the needler and plasma pistol.

Now grace the world with the Pillar Of Autum's 'Hog run. To scale, of course.

It's not illegal, it's just cheating.

Yeah, what happened with the Hunter's legs is I did those first, since I'd noticed from a reference image the texture detail on the toe, and realized I could do that with a knight's helmet. Then I built up from there, and then I couldn't find a quick way to keep the rest in exact proportion. In hindsight I should have constructed a totally custom armor and right arm instead of using HF parts there, which could have been smaller.

These are nice Bones. I like what you did with the Spartan torsos especially. The MA5whatevernumber is pretty good looking too.

These are brilliant. They're easily recognisable and look incredibly similar to what they look like in the games. I'm just wondering what that blue grate thing on Cortana's chest is supposed to be.
