Hello there! Thanks for stopping by the Marketplace Banter & Promotions forum. Please be sure you are familiar with the purpose and rules of this forum before you start a topic. Below the rules is a list and description of a few of the official topics you will find in this forum.

Forum Rules
  • Topic revival is currently set at 20 days. Do not post in a topic that has been inactive for 20 or more days. The only exception to this rule is Official Topics which can be posted in regardless of inactivity.
  • Search the forum before you post. You may be excited about a new promotion or set you found somewhere, but it is always possible someone else found out before you. Dupe topics will be closed.
  • Do not ask for free stuff. If you are looking for specific items, please head over to the B/S/T Forum. Topics looking for handouts will be closed.
Official Sightings Topics

This rules topic will double as the primary sightings topic in which you can post your findings of old, rare, or hard-to-find Bionicle or LEGO sets. However, once new sets start appearing in stores, an Official Sightings Topic for that year will be posted by the forum leader with the sole purpose of discussing the new sets. Special deals or bargains for new or old sets will be allowed to have their own thread in the forum.

eBay Auction Topics

The Official eBay Auctions topic exists so members can post the wacky, crazy auctions that show up on eBay from time to time in addition to normal, every-day auctions. Generally, a member posts a link someone else's auction in the eBay Auction topic. However, members will be allowed to post separate threads for their own eBay auctions. Individual eBay threads can be started to draw attention to auctions featuring rare sets, new sets not yet widely available, or things that don't show up on eBay too often. As an example, these items would be permitted to have their own topic:
  • German creature tub
  • VMKK, WMKK, SSKK
  • Hordika magnets
Ultimately, the staff have final control over what deserves its own topic or not, and will create a precedent of what should have its own thread and what goes in the pinned eBay topic. If you have any questions regarding an auction, feel free to PM a staff member of this forum.

What is dead may never die.

I found some Bionicles at a market in La Paz, Bolivia. This is the link to view the picture: https://picasaweb.go...CKuP9cqmxNmc7AE
The people there speak Spanish, but these canisters are in English. There were also two Inika and one Mahri that I only got to glance at. The Mahri canisters were pretty similar to the Barraki shown here, but the Inika canisters said "Hero" instead of "Robot." I wonder what country these are normally sold in?

Ah, those are the old "Invincibility Robot" bootlegs, if memory serves. Check this topic (Warning, archive link)

An auction for some masks that appears to have two orange Mirus... The photo is bad quality, so it could be something else... Somebody here buy this and see what they are.

Those orange ruru were included on the Manas set in 2001.

The are Miru, bu I have no idea where they came from. I never heard of those misprints, and I don't remember them being in the 2001 Mask Packs or Rahi sets. They might of been in Rahi sets, just don't remember.

Here is a clearer image that I requested from the seller. Those miru appear to be red.

Oh sorry, I only read but I didn't click on the link. My bad.

Yeah, those Miru are red according to the picture that Mimaka asked for.
