P U L S E concert on DVD by Pink Floyd. Can't really think of much else then guitars and that.

All the rowboats, in the paintings

They keep trying to row away

And the captains' worried faces

Stay contorted and staring at the waves

They keep hanging in their golden frames

For forever, forever and a day

All the rowboats, in oil paintings

They keep trying to row away, row away

"What the Water Gave Me" by Florence + The Machine.

I love the authentic sound of her work, both by virtue of her voice and stirring lyrics. Unfortunately, I don't have the money to buy the full album right now.

Aqualung: 40th Anniversary Edition - Jethro Tull
The Very Best of Jethro Tull - Jethro Tull
Both technically Hogswatch Christmas gifts, but it's not much of a distinction.

Also, once I get to the bank (and back to my computer after) an Irish Concert D Flute. I'll be ordering one with a natural finish on it (for pricing purposes) and a rather nice cloth bag.

There's something you had better understand about me, because it's important and one day your life may depend on it.

If Christmas presents count as purchases, then my brothers and I have a couple each. I have The Fray by The Fray and Vice Verses by Switchfoot; my younger brother has Waking Up by OneRepublic and The Resistance by Muse; and my youngest brother has Greatest Hits by Bon Jovi and Mylo Xyloto by Coldplay. I'm in the middle of ripping them all to my computer at the moment. :P

:kaukau: Five for Fighting, America Town.

What I really want are a few movie soundtracks, primarily stuff by John Williams (I only have Revenge of the Sith, a rather empty collection) and the tracks for the movies Tron: Legacy and X-Men: First Class.

There's also this choir that I'm trying to get, and if I can acquire a few of their CDs I'll make sure to proclaim it here. The group is called The Vocal Majority.

- I'm Tron Paul and I approve this message.

BUY MUSIC?! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

The Doctor Who Series 6 soundtrack.

Recently, I've been debating whether or not to buy Oliver Shanti's Nuur El Ab. I mean, sure it's £0.79, but I vowed not to buy anything more than food for January and I've done sort of so well so far.

it's great but two songs are total ripoffs of Maiden and Dream Theater, whether intentional or not. But still, I loved it.

They have required some digesting, but they're very interesting like that. And it just goes to prove my theory that the most interesting lyrics are delivered in the most incomprehensible manner.

A recording of Rachmaninov's 4 piano concertos performed by Vladimir Ashkenazy and the London Symphony Orchestra (sadly lacking the Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini)
A recording of Rachmaninov's two piano sonatas, performed by Howard Shelley (finally, a recording that includes his first sonata, and a good recording at that)
A recording of Ginastera's concerto for harp Op. 25, concerto for piano Op. 28, and the Estancia suite (various artists, Enrique Bátiz conducting)
GY!BE's Lift Your Skinny Fists like Antennas to Heaven
Sigur Rós' Ágætis byrjun
