I bought Peter Gabriel III by Peter Gabriel. It's presumably an old CD pressing but the production is fantastic and doesn't sound dated.

Linkin Park- Songs From The Underground
Now my Linkin Park collection is almost complete, just need the Live in Texas album.

Also got the half of the Cryoshell album about a week ago that wasn't in the Creeping In My Soul EP.

Two songs lately.

The Road Goes On - A.R. Rahman, Christopher Nightingale & Värttinä (The Lord of the Rings (Original London Production))

Both are pretty cool.

Since my last post I ordered Kivenkantaja by Moonsorrow, Feel The Darkness by Poison Idea and You And Me by Joe Bonamassa.

Also, still waiting for that 15th anniversary edition of The Crimson Idol by W.A.S.P. from my last post to arrive, as it's being shipped all the way from the US.

Picked up a recording of Medtner and Rachmaninoff's works for two pianos, including the arrangement of the Symphonic Dances Op. 45, at the Princeton Record Exchange the other day. Performed by Dmitri Alexeev and Nikolai Demidenko.

LIVING THINGS - Linkin Park.

I kind of buy their albums now out of a sense of duty, given Linkin Park was one of the first bands I got into. I was a little disheartened at the price tag of £8.99, but just gritted my teeth and bought it anyway. I am not disappointed.

Also just got LIVING THINGS, I like it much, much better than A Thousand Suns. It's different from Linkin Park's earlier music, but in a very good way.

I was annoyed that the US got it after everywhere else, but it was worth it.

I found MAN WITH A MISSION's EP, Welcome to the Newworld on the related albums for LIVING THINGS. I decided to try out the previews and really liked it, so decided it wasn't that expensive, so I gave it a try. I'm a little disappointed that's their only content on iTunes. I might have to search around for some more stuff, as they seem pretty funky.

I got Some Nights by Fun. off of Amazon MP3 for 99 cents last night

the whole album

for 99 cents

I love sales.

not bad at all for mainstream pop-rock. "We Are Young" is horrifically overplayed though, not even the best song on the album.

Enya's first two albums, as well as her Only Time collection. I'll end up buying them all though. It is magnificent...she layers her voice up to eighty times =0 Plus the music is simple so it's not over compressed in the mastering, which makes it super dynamic...I love it =D

honestly i think these are two of the best albums i've bought this year. Living Things does an incredible job of bringing together the various styles Linkin Park has used over the last decade-plus into a single, cohesive album, and it's beautiful. the other album, Dead Pixels, is by an independent artist called LukHash whose style, as he describes it, is "8-bit rock". basically it combines chiptune sounds (produced with actual gameboys and C64s) with hard instrumental rock. seriously cool stuff.

i think i'll be writing full reviews of these on my blog at some point, i like them that much <3

oh and i also got the mine turtle song by lil deuce deuce, because who doesn't like mine turtles
