Ah, I was going to compare a legged snail to a winged cat. Nonexistent, but don't get me started. Yeah sure, I know they call the slimey bottom of a snail a "foot," but it's not actually a foot as compared to any other living creature in the animal kingdom. And yeah sure, I heard about the cat born with skin flaps on its back, but that was a deformation, not wings. And ... oh nevermind.

Lazyflank? I like that term.

An update on the comic, it's coming along. Since I hate making you guys wait I decided to stop owneding Joland in Team Fortress 2 and work on it.

So from the last panel when you see me and Zero with Joland (sixth panel not including the header), is the seventh panel a quick flashback to let the readers know what happened, or did Zero and I leave and then the portal opened? I'm guessing we left and then the portal opened, seeing that Joland is awake when it does.

Reminds me of the Contention Chronicles. I spent SO much time planning that, and then never finished it. That's slightly depressing.

Anyway, I'm liking this so far. And am eager to learn what's going on. Though, I'm not sure what the reference Utah made in the comic was. Though, it reminded me of Zelda with the whole, "It's dangerous to go alone, take this." Which I approve of if that was it.

Edit: Oh, and I hate to be the one to point this out, but I can see how long you must have had this in the works.

I don't actually have any idea where I heard the Zelda quote (probably from L's comics), but your line reminded me of that, too.

That's what I was thinking when I read the new comic. If I remember right, I think you once told me that this idea has been going on since it started seven years ago. That's a long time to develop a nice plot, and it's shown in your comics -- especially this last one.

Oddly enough, the forums didn't work for me at the times some of these posts are dated. Anyways, I'm back on BZP, and catching up. First off, like how Season 1 was resolved. Second, you two nutjobs are as funny as ever. Answering your two questions:

1. The portal was just generally unstable, Utah had to close it as to not run the risk of it severing the connection. The portal is still functional.

2. That's pretty much it, Malus knew he was beat. So in a last attempt, he buried part of his mind into Joland's. Also, he isn't a Makuta. Recall back to the Season 2 Prologue so you know what I mean.
