Name: Garett
Species: Swervarian Rahkshi
Gender: Male
Faction: Researchers
Appearance: Garett is blue with green hands and feet. His left arm is a mixture of black, brown, blue, and green.
Weapons: His staff, which is in the shape of Levrahk's.
Mask: None
Power: Teleportation, and his left arm allows him power over Quick Healing. Although with the teleportation scrambler in place around the island, he seems to only be able to teleport a few Bio at a time.
Secondary Abilities: Being a Rahkshi of Teleportation, Garett is very quick to take in a situation and act. He also has trained himself to find the weak points of a being or object and is very skilled with his staff.
Weakness: While quick thinking and fairly strong, Garett often refuses to kill anything, and as such his blows are not normally as hurtful as they could be.
Personality: Almost like a fun uncle, Garett seems to speak with wisdom even other Swervarian Rahkshi don't have.
Biography: Hailing from the Island of Avoidance, Garett is about his father's work in tidying up what he can while he can. He is also searching for his father. When he found out about the Insomniac Group early in its forming, he joined, and has climbed the ladder to become the official head of the expedition. But as of the moment, he leads the Researches on towards their main objective even though some members resent the fact that he is a Rahkshi.

Hunters---
Name: Janx
Species: Swervarian Rahkshi
Gender: Male
Faction: Hunters
Appearance: Janx is sand yellow metallic with black hands and feet. His left arm is normal, since he has not unlocked/discovered his secondary ability.
Weapons: His two whips can connect to form his staff. When in staff form, the whips can elongate into ropes.
Mask: None
Power: Rahi Control
Secondary Abilities: Not only does Janx control Rahi, but he knows them. He can almost tell what a Rahi will or won't do. And almost what they're thinking.
Weakness: Janx has a hard time battling elements.
Personality: Janx is enthusiastic about Rahi and not much else. He will converse with you, but the subject will quickly turn to Rahi
Biography: Created after Garett, he has been mentored by the older Rahkshi. As such, he joined Garett in the Insomniac Group when he heard of an unstudied Rahi species. Due to his expertise on the subject, he now leads the Hunters. Why he is no longer talking with Garett or Sirel is a mystery even he can't answer. Proving himself before, the other Hunters respect him as leader even though he is a Rahkshi.

Species: Toa
Gender: Female
Faction: Forfeiters
Appearance: Sirel has a dull white body with light blue armor and is shorter than most Toa.
Weapons: A Rhotuka Launcher attached to her left arm. It can fold in on itself so as to not hinder movement. Power of Rhotuka: Temporary Intangibility (The Rhotuka is intangible, allowing it to fly through solid objects, then it rapidly becomes solid and sharp enough to cut through nearly any substance). And an Ice Gun, but instead of an Ice Pick, it wields a bayonet. It is balanced and easily used as a makeshift sword or gun.

Power: Ice
Secondary Abilities: Sirel is agile with quick reflexes, and has a cunning intelligence.
Weakness: Her lack of strength does not help in a physical fight.
Personality: Cold and calculating, she always gets to the point.
Biography: Unfortunately for the Insomniac Group, her background check never happened and she went on to form her own small faction. Her goal being to get what she can from this island. She leads the Forfeiters and realizes a boat needs to be made, but she is more concerned with what she can get out of Dreamland.

Appearance: Standing on two legs, the only Rhak ever seen is twice the height of a Matoran. Its tail is stiff and strong for balance. It has two shorter arms compared to its back legs. The arms don’t quite reach the ground, but can lash out or handle "equipment" if needed. It is all gray with natural bone-like armor on its head, back, the outside of its legs and arms, and the top of its tail. It is definitely reptilian looking and it has piercing yellow eyes. Its tail is apparently sharp, and its teeth are almost as long as the claws on its "hands" and feet.
Weapons: Its teeth, claws, and tail

Power: Unknown (No power was shown when it rampaged except perhaps limited invulnerability)
Secondary Abilities: It appears they have unordinary intelligence. But that can't be proved by just one sighting.

Personality: Vicious, and apparently hungry for those who get in its way.
Biography: Nothing is known about where the Rhaks came from or if they were on the island before the Matoran arrived, or even their real name. The only thing known is that they are mad at the intrusion by the Insomniac Group, and yet so far only one Rhak has made a halfhearted attack that sent the Insomniac Group in an unprepared frenzy when it turned out that it couldn’t be injured.

Appearance: Much like the first Rhak to be seen, this one stands on two legs at twice the height of a matoran. It has a stiff tail for balance, slightly longer than the other's. It is mottled dark green and dark purple with natural bone-like armor on its head, back, the outside of its legs and arms, and the top of its tail. It is definitely reptilian looking, with dull green eyes. Its tail is apparently sharp, and its teeth are almost as long as the claws on its "hands" and feet. Also has plantlife growing over its body, providing exceptional camoflage.

Appearance: Shadouk has black armor with blood red stripes running sideways down his body, almost twisting around.
Weapons: A sword that is rather plain looking.
Mask: Powerless Kakama
Power: Shadow
Secondary Abilities: No matter what circumstance, Shadouk always seems to be able to see the dark side of things. His skill with his sword is only beaten by his amazing reaction time.
Weakness: Shadouk is proud, and doesn’t expect sudden tactic changes.
Personality: While apparently friendly to others in the group, dark undertones can be noticed if looked for.
Biography: Shadouk couldn’t believe the difficulties of docking. He is on the island to look for something specific, but he hasn’t told anyone what it is. Now he wishes to take charge or at least get the other beings to get a move on.

[Toa Levacius Zehvor]

Name: Worhdock
Species: Unique
Gender: Male
Faction: None Yet
Appearance: Wordock appears to be a toa, though slightly taller. His armor is a mix of shining, metallic white and red. When he holds his spear, a golden nimbus seems to shine from him.
Weapons:Spear of Weather Control. The spear cannot be controlled by any known toa element, but appears to be some type of almost indestructible white metal. He can cause this spear to come to his hand from some sort of extra-dimensional space as he wills, or send it back. Two leather gloves.
Mask: Wears a powerless Great Huna.
Power: Worhdock has the power of Weather Control as a Rahkshi of the 4^th level of power. When he holds the spear, this is increased to the 6^th level power, and he also gains flight.
Secondary Abilities:None really. Can unerringly predict the weather if he has a clear view of the sky. Is a fairly competent warrior, but not a master of combat. Mental Shielding.
Weakness: Worhdock is weak to the touch of metal, and never uses any metal items – even his spear, as stated, isn’t made of metal. It doesn’t seem obvious at first – I mean, him moving away from a spear isn’t that odd, nobody wants to be stabbed by one. However, if one looks in a lab set up of his, they’ll see everything is cloth or nylon coated so he doesn’t come in contact with metal.
Personality: Loves the odd and abstract, and is very open to new things. Isn’t the hardest worker, but eventually gets around to doing things. Has almost no sense of urgency. Doesn’t open conversations, but once on a subject he is interested in – namely the weather – he is hard to stop. Doesn’t really think about others emotions, and just says what he means to say. He usually tries to comfort somebody if he upset them though. Is usually relaxed and going through things until something excites him, like a random change.
Biography: Worhdock came aboard for the simple purpose of studying the weather. While it may seem odd for somebody with Weather Control, it was always his passion. The sudden storm that blocked off the final ship amazed him, and finding the source behind it led to him staying onboard – especially when even his powers couldn’t control it.

Name: Thalidon
Species: Unique
Gender: Male
Faction: None Yet
Appearance: Appears as a tall, toa like being. He is extraordinarily gaunt, having barely organic parts attached to his thin frame. His mask appears to be screaming at all times, a massive, open maw. There are no eye holes on the mask – he doesn’t need them, as he has no eyes.
Weapons: A very well crafted longbow made of a special crystal. Is inscribed with runes preventing enemies from controlling it, but if the runes were cut out, it would both lose its ability to function as a bow and become simple crystal. The bow generates its own arrows out of energy. Has a hunting knife as a secondary.
Mask: An unidentified mask that appears to be screaming – a hint to his power. Terrible to look at.
Power: Can activate at power scream at the 5^th level of Kraata power, and is immune to similar effects.
Secondary Abilities: Sonar. Can attempt to charm a single Rahi so that it views him as an ally, though other control attempts will override it, and attacking it could cause problems – he is intrigued to see if he could charm a Rhakk. Was used off-island to tame a beast to assist him in his hunts. Is a master archer; one of the best.
Weakness: Is completely blind.
Personality: Lives only for the hunt – of Rhakks and lesser Rahi and anyone else.
Biography: Thalidon is on the island for one reason – hunting. He came to hunt down any rare Rahi and take their heads as trophies.

Name: Levacius (primary alias “Griffon”, current alias “Cievasul”, pronounced ‘see-vah-sool’)
Species: Toa
Gender: Male
Faction: None Yet
Appearance: A white armored toa with a grey Kanohi Hau.
Weapons: A longsword and shortsword. Both are Electro-Chute Blades.
Mask: Mask of Sensory Aptitude
Power: Elemental Power of Lightning; he specializes in manipulating electrical fields.
Secondary Abilities: Levacius is a master with his blades, and is extremely agile – a Vortixx would have a hard time matching against him in that department, and he is at no lack of strength for it. He has centuries of experience in fighting, and is also a pretty good at science and engineering. Limited mental shielding – is immune to telepathy unless he allows it, and is immune to mind control.
Weakness: Arrogance, really. He’s extremely cocky. Physically he has no real weakness
Personality: Extremely imaginative and talkative, and can handle pretty much any subject from science to war. Knows a lot of big words but doesn’t use them much. Extremely analytical, and memorizes almost everything he sees to recall later – and he’s seen a lot. He’s not much for being bossed around. He can be condescending, but is usually a pretty nice person to be around, even – and sometimes especially – when you’re fighting him. Is relaxed most of the time, but gets irritated easily. Has a code of honor, but it’s pretty lose and seems to change daily.
Biography: Levacius used to work for the Barraki as a scientist from about 13,000 years before their defeat until shortly before it came, after he numbered potential enemies – and the location of Brotherhood armies – and figured that, if they attacked the Barraki, they would be crushed in a matter of hours. It happened.
1,000 years after their defeat he became a toa while serving under one of their surviving generals, who was, of course, battling the other surviving generals over land in the Northern Continent. 4,000 years later he had control over 78% of the continent and was the most powerful single being in the universe. The Brotherhood, not wanting this “Seventh Barraki” to take power, quickly acted and crushed his armies. After escaping, and rigging his fortress to explode and kill over a hundred Rahkshi, he was quickly put on a death list. His corpse eventually washed up in the Tren Krom River.
In reality, he survived under the alias Griffon as a criminal pirate captain. Currently, a few Brotherhood spies began poking around after it slipped their might be a link. At the time, his second in command is masquerading as him – and the spies will discover that, as his second in command was never Levacius, this was all a ruse.
To pass the time, he signed up for the Insomniac Group back when it was hard to get through just to see if he could. Through the use of never lying, but not filling in all of his history, he was welcomed aboard as Cievasul the scientist.

The Eccentric Zoologist

Name: Dr. Sedgulus
Species: Toa
Gender: Male
Faction: Neutral
Appearance: A tall, handsomely built toa, clad in silver with a gold mask, chest plate and shoulders. Orange eyes. His mask is shaped like the new helmet worn by Rocka in the Hero Factory Breakout line.
Weapons: Hunting Rifle, with a scope. It is powered by his element.
Mask: Kanohi Galleskope, the Great Mask of Vision.
Allows the user Telescopic Vision.
Power: Elemental control over Iron.
Secondary Abilities:
Weakness: Specializes in projectiles to a fault, no close combat skills.
Personality: A curious mind, fueled by a love for learning how life is put together. Sedgulus is friendly, but eccentric. He underestimates the squeamishness of others, and has a habit of seeing new people as parts walking around for him to examine. ie. fascinating shape of the hand, unusual skull, etc...

After coming to Dreamland, Sedgulus has been taken by the same paranoia and mistrust as everybody else. He is somewhat aware that something is wrong with their behavior, but he hasn’t the slightest clue how to do anything about it...
Biography: It is an unexplored island, what zoologist wouldn’t want to go and find a new species? Get something named after himself. Or herself, if the zoologist was a woman. But Sedgulus is a man, and the point is, he wanted to find some new species of Rahi, several, if he could.

He had been expecting a bird or something, not a giant lizard. Now, the question is once he knows of the Beast of Dreamland, will he get the Rahk, or will the Rahk get him?

The Fat Greedy Shark Lady

Name: Rekia Vas Slythyyn
Species: Regaliphile
Species Description: A sub-species of Pridak's own race, much fewer in number. They inhabit but a few counties in the Northern Continent, but have a habit of getting into extremely high places in society. The average Regaliphile has the same physical strength and durability as a Toa, plus powerful jaws, but no other natural powers.
Gender: Female
Faction: Neutral
Appearance: Looks like a shark lady. Sharky face, sharky mouth, sharky teeth. Fin-like protrusions on her arms and head. Clad in black and white armor with red highlights. Red eyes, with pupils that are not exactly slits, but not completely circular either. Same height as a Toa, same shape... kinda.

There is no dancing around the fact, Rekia is not thin, she is large.
Weapons: Rekia obtained a pair of highly modified and experimental Zamor Sphere Launchers before departing from the ships onto the island.

The Zamor sphere launchers look like the new launchers from the Hero Factory Breakout Line. They are gunmetal grey, and launch typical explosive rounds They are fed by two separate tubes. The first turns sand into glass, which are used to make the spheres. The second set of tubes fill the spheres with the explosive compounds. These tubes are fed by a pair of tanks she wears on her back while using these weapons. One is simply filled with sand, easy enough to find. The other takes air from her surroundings and mixes it up, turning it into a much more volatile compound (For the record, oxygen is actually a very destructive element).

This is all experimental, of course. Doesn’t always work.

And she has sharp teeth. But she is a lady, and will refrain from biting... most of the time.
Mask: None (Capable of using one)
Power: No powers to speak of.
Secondary Abilities: It is notable that she possesses IMMENSE willpower. Other than that, not much worth noting.

Some may say that she is insulated against the cold. She may say those people should burn in a fire.
Weakness: No powers, an experimental and occasionally temperamental weapon, and a not so lean body make Rekia perhaps not the best suited person for combat.
Personality: Greedy and very strong willed. It is difficult to persuade her she is wrong, and she does not take well to insults. Comments on the generous... ness... of her form will likely result in attempted murder in this emotionally charged atmosphere of Dreamland. At the same time, she can sweet talk when she wants to, and had no limits when it comes to getting what she wants.

Perhaps a bit of a hoarder when it comes to money.
Biography: “Dreamland, a world lost in time... a land filled with unclaimed treasures...”

“I suppose it would make sense for me to want to get a bit more for my name...”

Born into a wealthy family, the sole heir, Rekia of course enjoyed her indulgence. What man or woman wouldn’t? What set Rekia aside from her family, though, was that she was not content with just the family fortune. They were lazy, and she, despite what many around her believed, was not.

Daddy went first. Boating trips were dangerous, when one thinks about it. And anybody could fall down a mountain. It’s not like her mother had been pushed... But in any event, it all went to her.

Unsavory deals, unsavory businesses. All of these were done to get more money. And when the expedition to Dreamland came along, Rekia leapt at the chance to get more money. Hiring several mercenaries, she boarded the final ship to Dreamland, hardly able to conceal her excitement.

But when she got off the ship, none of the mercenaries she had hired were waiting for her. A bit of asking around revealed that those members of the expedition never boarded the ship. They had taken the forward payment she gave them, then fled.

So here she is, stranded on an island, surrounded by strangers. Needless to say, she is not amused.

And the Murderous Adrenaline Junkie

Name: Torhak
Species: Skakdi
Gender: Male
Faction: Neutral
Appearance: Average Skadki build, standing at about the height of a Toa, broad shouldered and muscular. Clad in Crimson armor, with some white highlights. Chest armor is silver. His spines are about the same as Hakann's. Eyes are, unusually for a Skakdi, a bright blue, almost white. Like all Skakdi, his face's most prominent feature is an evil grin. He wear's a pair of protosteel, plate armor gauntlets, through which he channels his element and his Repulsion power. Four toed feet. Also wears a pair of black goggles, which completely hide his eyes when he wears them.
Weapons: A protosteel axe, like the type you would use to cut wood. His Protosteel Gauntlets are also quite effective for deflecting blows, and putting some extra ‘ouch’ in his punches. The Goggles...do nothing. He just wears them because they look cool.
Mask: N/A
Power: Torhak possesses Infrared Vision, as well as an Elemental control over Fire, which can only be used in conjunction with another Slkakdi's Element. Torhak also possesses a Repulsion Power, allowing him to repel solids, liquids, and air away from him, and vice versa. Using this ability, Torhak is capable of moving through the air at any speed he wishes, repelling the air around him, achieving flight, as well as firing blasts of repulsion from his gauntlets.
Secondary Abilities: The strength and speed of all Skakdi, tempered by his exercise. Pretty good at using his Repulsion powers to rocket about.
Weakness: The nature of his powers means that he is not very precise, hitting large areas in most cases. Once he gets in a fight, he disregards his own safety. Has a habit of overexerting himself. Can’t fight over long ranges, only mid-close.
Personality: Torhak is a thrill seeker, a he gets his best fixes off crime. Robbery, arson, murder, etc. While he claims to capable of going for a while without a fix, it feels incredibly good, and is something he is always looking for. With the air of hostility on Dreamland, Torhak is actually more cautious. He likes a fight, but against everybody on the island? He’s going to need to be smart about this...
Biography: Don’t ask how he got off Zakaz. The story changes every time.

Torhak is here, and that is all that matters. His plan was simple: Get to the island, steal all the good stuff, and leave everybody stranded. He didn’t count on the storm, or the sudden aggression from the others. But then, that simply makes it more fun. So, his plan remains the same.

[Magnus Greel]

Name: Hios
Species: Toa
Gender: Male
Faction: Neutral
Appearance: Hios is a tall, middle-aged Toa clad in pale green (the shade of light green on Zaktan) armor that is spotted with dozens of brown blotches of different sizes; some are in clusters, others spread far out. His eyes are turquoise in color.
Weapons: A wooden staff with the very top and tip studded with teal jewels. It has the ability to channel his element and fire force bolts.
Mask: Great Kanohi Hau, Mask of Shielding
Power: The Green
Secondary Abilities: Hios is fluent in several languages in the Matoran Universe, including Matoran, Skakdi, and he even knows words of the ancient language Sidorak knew of. He can say a few words in Rahi as well.
Weakness: Hios despises and fears both fire and intense cold – though mostly fire, for its destructive nature – because of their harm to plants.
Personality: A wise Toa with a deep interest in plants. He is normally calm and serious, and believes that everyone and everything would look better with a little green.
Biography: Hios is been around for awhile and done a lot of things in his younger life, including training other Toa and teaching as a mentor. Having heard of Dreamland, the Toa of Plant life decided to investigate and protect its sleeping inhabitants.

Due to his age, Hios is adept at manipulating his element and knows of various plant toxins and healing herbs.


Name: Tyrana
Species: Pridak’s species
Gender: Female
Faction: Neutral
Appearance: Tyrana has a very similar appearance to Pridak’s mutated form, with a feminine-shaped body and her head and mask resembling his head and face. Her teeth are sharp and shark-like, too, as she has sharpened them. The armor she wears is capable of altering its colors; while usually a purple and gold, she can change it to a green and silver, or red and bronze, and so on. She cannot use it to match her surrounding like the Chameleon power, though. Her eyes are a fiery red, glowing like crimson-colored flames.
Weapons: Tyrana carries a blade shaped like Pridak’s swords, which is dark silver in color. It is entirely composed of the tiny metal stingers from venomous insects. Their poison is still contained in the fused stingers, which can be toxic if enough is injected in through a cut or gash. She also has her teeth and sharp, pointed fingers for offense.
Mask: Great Kanohi Faxon, Mask of Kindred
Power: None
Secondary Abilities: She is swift, moving fast to strike out against others. Besides having extensive knowledge on Rahi, Tyrana also is trained at using a sword.
Weakness: While quick and nimble, Tyrana lacks physical strength. She also heavily relies on her mask in order to solve her problems and challenges.
Personality: Vicious and ruthless, Tyrana is hostile to others that aggravate her. After the revolt against her and her fellows, she is now alert to her surroundings and slightly paranoid.
Biography: Once a high ranking member of a brutal police force on her home island, Tyrana carried out the laws of the land mercilessly. The enforcers were so harsh that in time a revolt against them occurred.

Because of her crimes, she was sentenced to life on a prison island. However, Tyrana could earn her pardon if she helped in the Dreamland expedition. She was sent to the others on the boats and accompanied by a guard. But the two became separated and he was placed on the fourth boat, and later killed while waiting and guarding the boats.

After the ship arrived, Tyrana found that her guard was nowhere to be seen, and decided to escape rather than help.

[Toa of Dancing]

Name: Hgn'Svt (most easily pronounced as HIEN-zevet)
Species: Toa
Gender: Male
Faction: Researchers
Appearance: Hgn'Svt looks like he couldn't run if he had a muaka chasing him or fight if a rock lion was tearing off his face. He seems to have only enough muscle to survive, walk around the island, and carry his equipment and specimens. His eyes are a pale green like his armor. He's a good deal shorter than the average toa, too, only being about four-fifths of a bio when standing.
Weapons: He prefers no violence and thus has no weapons. However, he carrijes different scalpels and other various medical equipment.
Mask: Mask of Rahi Control
Power: The Green
Secondary Abilities: Extreme intelligence and a fair amount of wisdom.
Weakness: Hgn'Svt cannot fight for the life of him.
Personality: Friendly yet reclusive. Hgn'Svt abhors all violence - sans that of survival such as hunting - and loves nature. He's always willing to help if you can find him, though he's usually somewhere in the middle of the island trying to find a new plant, rahi, or otherwise.
Biography: Hgn'Svt is a German scientist that loves everything natural and hates violence. He's fine with modern technology, of course, though prefers to do things himself if he can. He saw this new island as a perfect opportunity to discover new things to help society. Of course, his rather obsessive nature when it comes to science keeps him from being too commonly seen and he has very little physical ability.

Name: Alan
Species: Kasuba. Basically a slightly taller a Toa with wings.
Gender: Male
Faction: None, likely to be a Hunter
Appearance: Toa-like being, with blue organics, and white armor. His two giant, thick wings - which he can fold tightly against his back - are spread with a brilliant, sky-blue membrane, with wispy white streaks where the cartilage is. Alan has navy blue eyes.
Weapons: Dagger-like endings on his powerful wings and a claymore he keeps strapped in between said wings when not in use. The membrane on each wing is armor-like, and thus they can be used like a shield.
Mask: Mask of Emulation
Power: Elemental power of sky, which is pretty much telekinesis with mild control of weather added. Depending on what his Mask of Emulation copies, he can also have any other single power that he sees used.
Secondary Abilities: Agile, strong, can fly using his wings.
Weakness: Elemental resevoirs get drained a bit faster than others' due to his always-activated sixth-sense. Mask of Emulation also takes the usual time to work.
Personality: War-torn and hardened, but friendly when he wants to be. Doesn't love fighting, but enjoys it. Slow temper, tries not to actually fight outside of competition or necessity. Generally fast yet decisive in strategies, whether sparring with a friend, playing chess, or fighting for his life.
Biography: Alan is a traveler that has been through most of the Matoran Universe. Many, many beings know who he is simply because of his travels. He's also a well-known trader. In fact, he got his Mask of Emulation for a very high price in his trading. He owns a powerless Noble Matatu, which was his old mask.

Only a few years before the Dreamland was discovered, a war was waged upon his people. He immediately returned to his homeland of Cytha-Nui and joined the kasuban military. Having been a general in a war long before then, he was quickly reinstated to that position. Though they were extremely able fighters, the kasuba were already a scarce race, and the enemy refused to stop the fighting. By the end of the war, less than one hundred of each side was left. Many more died from wounds, leaving only a few dozen kasuba left in the universe. Being one of the highest ranking officers in the military, alan blames much of their near-extinction on himself.

Biography: Ornas was sent here by the Dark Hunters to scout the recent findings, but then the rest of his team was killed by the Rhaks and he disbanded from the faction.

Secondary Abilities: Ena is quite intelligent: She possesses an intriguing knack for improvising strategies on the fly.
Weakness: Ena often underestimates her skills, even socialization skills, leaving her an unusually timid Toa. She struggles with insomnia and thus isn’t always sure how much energy she has.
Personality: Ena is timid, second-guessing herself far too often. In stark contrast to her exterior nature, when she has made up her mind about something, she stands by her idea. Being proven wrong is like being punched in the gut for her; it only brings her self-esteem down another notch. Her insomnia acts up almost every night; a good night’s sleep is rare for her. Nevertheless, spending long, nighttime hours lying awake gifted her with incredible patience and night vision almost on par with an Onu-Matoran’s.
Biography: To the south of the Matoran Universe lies a little-known island. Ena was that island’s lone Toa. The island experienced little trouble, for travelers were rare and the Rahi tame for the most part. Whenever a formidable enemy did come, however, Ena was there to protect her village. One day, a traveler came with news of an expedition setting off for another unknown island; Ena, knowing her village would thrive even without her, decided to leave with the expedition, hoping her skills with hunting and general curiosity could help.

Biography: Originally a novice Toa of Psionics in a smaller-than-average Toa team, Kharish was ill-prepared for a raiding band of Rahkshi coming across her village. Most of her team were killed trying to defend their home, Kharish herself was mortally wounded, only surviving because she pushed her Psionic powers enough to allow her consciousness to jump into the nearest Rahkshi body. She overcome its primitive mind to rule in its stead. With a new body and new set of powers, she set about nursing the only other survivor of the raid back to health, mastering her healing powers in the process. Kharish took her new role seriously, learning the sciences of anatomy and medication so she could apply her powers properly, eventually becoming a properly qualified doctor. When news of the expedition to 'Dreamland' reached her, she chose to sign on. She presumed the voyage would likely be full of warriors who would need someone to patch them up. Now that she's trapped on the island, she just wants to leave so has thrown her lot in with the Forfeiters despite not sharing the profit-orientated mindset most of them have

Personality: As a result of being placed on the island, separated from civilisation, Codjok was hit by an extreme case of cabin fever. It only took him a few days to loose his mind and declare himself King of the Island. He is untrustworthy and unpredictable
Biography: No-one is quite sure why Codjok was on the voyage, though being a Skakdi it was probably for the profit and chance of a good scrap. What really concerns people is Codjok's current actions and motivations. As he has outright named himself sole sovereign of Dreamland he is a menace to everyone. With no camp of his own he raids from the others, simply taking whatever he wants as he regards it as his property anyway

Name: Su’un
Species: Trytan of Fire
Tyrtan: A species similar to Toa. While able to manipulate elements, they are not actually able to create them. While they’re able to wear Kanohi, most do not, instead donning the traditional Nutra helmets, which are powerless, but carry a great symbolism for them.

Each elemental group has a different physical characteristic. Fire Trytans are much slimmer and nimbler than most, enabling them to navigate lava flows with ease.
Gender: Male
Faction: Neutral
Appearance: A wiry and slim Trytan, with armour of varying shades of red and black.
Weapons: A simple scythe. Clean and simple.
Mask: Wear’s a Nutra helmet, a powerless but symbolic mask which conceals most of the wearers face. It is a smooth, round mask, with breathing vents around the mouth and nose, as well as a thin, horizontal slit to allow for vision.
Power: He has the ability to manipulate (but not create) fire and heat.
Secondary Abilities: He’s very nimble and light on his feet, making him tricky to pin down.
Weakness: He’s not that strong, as his body is built more for speed and agility. In a contest of sheer strength, he’s a goner.
Personality: Fairly amiable, but rather reserved, and not a great conversationalist. Su’un has a great love for living things, which is why he came on this expedition.
Biography: Su’un grew up in the colonies of the Fire Trytans, working as a greenhouse worker on the outskirts. He loved plants and other organisms, and thus loved his job. When an offer to explore and research Dreamland came, he leapt at the chance.

Even stranded on the island, he has not lost hope. Su’un has busied himself studying the local flora, a subject he finds marvelous.

Name: Katan
Species: Toa
Gender: Male
Faction: Neutral
Appearance: An imposing figure, with thick silver armour, which also covers the bottom portion of his mask.
Weapons: An original invention, it is basically a long rod a crystal, with an energized base. A button on the hilt sends an electric charge through the crystal, turning it into a stun baton. If enough electricity is poured into it, theoretically, it could be able to cut through certain objects, but could also shatter the cystal.
Mask: A Hau, shaped as noble Ruru.
Power: Elemental control over electricity.
Secondary Abilities: A skilled fighter, he is a legendary opponent, with numerous victories on his belt. Even his presence alone can cause the sturdiest of warriors to turn and run.
Weakness: Due to his size and the thickness of his armour, Katan is more of lumbering giant than a runner. This can open him up to attacks from quicker and more agile opponents.
Personality: Silent and sober. He rarely speaks, and when he does, it’s usually to say something actually worth saying. He also a bit of a ruthless touch, not hesitating to crush an opponent once he has them where he wants them.
Biography: Katan was world-class mercenary before coming to Dreamland, and even on the island, his skills as a warrior are renowned. He had no real qualms about his work, about who he would kill. It was a job. Nothing more.

Then, someone came to him with an offer. An impressive offer. Go to Dreamland and end the project. Immediately. The employer promised half the reward then, and half once the job was done. Naturally, that person was killed on then and there, and the full profit was pocketed.

Unfortunately, the bounty hunter underestimated the strength and ruthlessness of his would-be employers ‘work force’. He soon found Dreamland to be the only place where he would be safe from their wrath, and so, he made arrangements to head there.

Name: Rayhoun (a.k.a. Tempest)
Species: Toa
Gender: Male
Faction: Neutral
Appearance: A slim, but muscular Toa with dark grey and black armour, wearing a black trench coat and fedora
Weapons: Twin swords, which look like these, but with a circular opening, rather than an angled one
Mask: Kanohi Kualsi, Mask of Quick-Travel
Power: Elemental control over air
Secondary Abilities: Really, really good at fighting.
Weakness: Quite arrogant, so he tends to underestimate his opponents.
Personality: Tempest gives off a cold, distant aura, causing most sane people to avoid him. He's extremely intelligent, arrogant, and calculating. He's extremely sadistic, preferring to prolong his victims suffering for as long as possible.
Biography: Born as a beggar in a distant city on the Southern Continent, Rayhoun survived on his wits and strength alone. He had few friends, but he was extremely loyal to the small few that he had, two other Matoran, Zara and Catu. The three worked together, helping each other survive, and watching each other's backs.

However, one day, a the gang was caught in a security raid. Catu was killed in the crossfire, and Zara went missing. Overcome by grief, Rayhoun began building an emotional wall, trying to keep the world at a distance. Due to this, he became much more ruthless, honing his fighting skills, and using them to rob and kill others (usually weaker than him).

Eventually, he managed to kill a passing Toa, but not before forcing him to create a Toa stone, which Rayhoun promptly stole and used to transform. After this, the Eye, and powerful criminal syndicate, discovered him, hiring him as one of their members.


After the bounty hunter Katan killed their leader, Rayhoun, now known as Tempest, was sent to Dreamland to eliminate him, a mission which he is currently pursuing with great interest.

Weakness: Um, he's just a Matoran? Pretty big weakness if you ask me. He's also one of Karzahni's repair jobs, if that counts for anything.
Personality: Crazy survivalist and obsessive hunter. Little bit anti-social. Chaotic Neutral.
Biography: Originating from an unknown land and sent to the Southern Continent by Karzahni, Kroghun never liked to live in any village. He became a well-known Rahi trapper/hunter and an expert on his element. Invited to join the expedition, he happily took the chance. However, some of his shipmates have noticed that he is becoming increasingly erratic...

Name: Laorus.
Species: Siorun.
Gender: Female.
Faction: Neutral.
Appearance: Laorus is a Toa-sized being. Standing at 7', she is, essentially, a walking suit of armor; her body is completely made of metal, and it is obvious when you near her that she is a hollow being. She wears a helmet as opposed to a mask, which is heavily stylized in regards to the smaller details; it is relatively flat in the front, though rounds off at the top before fanning out to cover the back of her neck. Its face bears a distinct resemblance to that of a Kanohi Kakama. Pale blue eyes shine through the holes of her helmet, though they do little to illuminate the inside of her body. A crest is present on her shoulder; similar to the face of a boar, it can be removed and used to summon her steed, Doro, at will.
Weapons: Laorus's main -- and only -- weapon is a halberd, completely metal and etched with strange, pale blue lines, the same color as Laorus's eyes.
Mask: N/A.
Power: Immunity to pain. Ability to summon a familiar -- a large, metal boar-like Rahi called Doro -- using her crest. Night vision.
Secondary Abilities: Extreme endurance and physical strength.
Weakness: Laorus bears a few weaknesses. She is completely useless against the element of iron, a power that could easily kill her in a matter of seconds. Similarly, the boar crest that is present on her right shoulder at times is, essentially, her source of power; were it to be destroyed, she and Doro would both die.
Personality: Laorus is a fairly fiery individual. Quick to judge and come to conclusions, regardless of how right or wrong they are, she prefers to operate alone, getting along with few other beings (discounting Doro.) She has an undying thirst for adventure and danger, and is willing to go to any extreme to accomplish a goal relating to either; it is for this reason that she has become a very famous bounty hunter. As far as Laorus is concerned, if you want to stay safe, then you'd best stay out of her way.
Biography: Hailing from the island of Kayun, Laorus was the twelfth of the twenty-six Siorun to be created; upon coming into existence she was given Doro as her Siorun Familiar. Despising the dreary and boring nature of the island, she eventually set out for other lands and became a bounty hunter and gladiator, earning her the nickname of "The Paladin." Her arrival to Dreamland is one brought about by the prospect of danger and adventure and nothing more; while finding out the secrets of the island is one benefit of being there, she much prefers the thought of battling the strange monsters that are rumored to exist on the island.

Name: Doro.
Species: Familiar.
Gender: Male.
Faction: Laorus.
Appearance: Doro is a large, boar-like animal, composed entirely of metal; like his master, he is completely hollow. Roughly ten feet tall, he is exceptionally big, capable of carrying Laorus on his bag in a saddle with ease. His eyes -- as well as a number of lines present on his saddle -- are the same color as Laorus's eyes, and a crest shaped similarly to a boar's face is present on his chest.
Weapons: Himself. Mainly his tusks and feet.
Mask: N/A.
Power: Immune to pain. Can be summoned form Laorus's crest on virtually a whim, though the manifestation process takes roughly thirty seconds.
Secondary Abilities: Extreme endurance and strength.
Weakness: Doro has the same weaknesses as Laorus. As well as this, as he is her companion animal, were she to die, then Doro would die immediately afterward.
Personality: Doro has little personality to speak of. He is completely loyal to Laorus and Laorus alone; as such he refuses to allow any others to use him for transport. His willingness to work with others is directly proportional to his master's.
Biography: Doro has lived a fairly simple life. Created at the same time as Laorus on Kayun, he was the twelfth Familiar to be assigned to a Siorun, jsut as Laorus was the twelfth Siorun to come into existence. He has served Laorus ever since, through all kinds of tasks and danger.

[The Lorax]

Name: Manuka
Species: Vortixx
Gender: Male
Faction: Researchers
Appearance: Manuka is a black Vortixx with bright green eyes. Like other Vortixx, Manuka is tall and lean but deceptively strong.

Weapons: Credit for these goes to those who entered them into the Xian Weapons contest.

• Vortixx Rhotuka Battle Axe. The axe’s colours are slightly modified from the original version to match Manuka himself i.e. the red parts are replaced with a mixture of lime and metru green. (His rhotuka power is telekinesis. When one of these rhotuka strikes a being or object, Manuka gains limited telekinetic control over them, and only for a short time, say 5-20 seconds. During this time, Manuka can throw the target away, move it around or draw it to himself).
• Energy Extraction Rifle. This is shoulder mounted, so when it is fired, the kickback often puts Manuka off balance for a moment.

As a Vortixx, Manuka is competent in the use of technology, and maintains his tools in good condition, usually able fix minor damage.

Power: Manuka is a Vortixx, so he has no powers of his own. Instead, he relies on technology.

Secondary Abilities: Manuka has a knack for coming up with good ideas, but he doesn’t always have the skills to implement them. He is fairly agile, but not very.

Weakness: Manuka has no magical powers like Toa or Skakdi do, so he is at a disadvantage against them, and even more if his weapons are damaged or confiscated.
He isn’t a terribly good fighter, either, but has some basic skills with his weapons. He is more of a thinker than a fighter, and prefers to find solutions to his problems in other ways.

Biography: Manuka joined the Insomniac Group a long time ago, in the hope of making an interesting discovery. He is fascinated by the mystery of the island, and wants to get to the bottom of it. Before joining the group, he worked on Xia for a weapons corporation, designing new technologies. He knows his way around a weapon, including how best to use them and how to fit a customer's needs to the right tool.

Personality: Manuka is an inquisitive Vortixx, always wondering ‘what if…?’ This characteristic led him to be a good designer and ideas man on Xia, and also to join the IG when he heard of the island and the mysterious rumours surrounding it.
Mankua feels quite disturbed by all the fear and anger on this island, as they are not normally a strong part of his personality.

Name: Mala
Species: Skakdi
Gender: Female
Faction: The Eye
Element: Psionics
Vision Power: X-ray telescopic vision, just like Avak’s in canon.
Third Power: Mala can control her own density, allowing her to become intangible and pass through obstacles or attacks, or else become very dense to increase the force of her physical attacks.

Appearance: Mala has a dark blue spine, hands, feet, head and torso, with gold armour on her limbs and some of the spikes on her spine. She is slimmer than most other Skakdi, and has clawed hands and feet.

Weapons: Electro Chute blade. This weapon was stolen (see Bio section). Her old weapon was discarded before arrival on Dreamland. She isn’t too good with it yet, having had it only a short time.

Secondary Abilities: Mala is quick to react to most situations, and more agile than most other Skakdi.

Personality: Mala has a ruthless personality, and has no qualms about using whatever means necessary to get what she wants. Right now, that involves staying clear of the BoM and their agents. She hates the Makuta for what they did to her race, and would go for revenge if she thought it was possible.

Biography: Mala and her brother Krokk have recently escaped Zakaz and are on the run from authorities. They broke into a BoM guard outpost, stole information and equipment and used it to get off the island. They joined the Insomniac Group only a week before the expedition set out in order to get somewhere where they wouldn’t be caught.

Weaknesses:
Mala is on the run from a powerful organisation, so she can be a bit paranoid about the possibility of people turning her in. This can stop her from making allies.
She has not had her weapon for very long, so she is not particularly skilled in the use of it.
She needs to team up with another Skakdi to use her elemental powers, so she is vulnerable when alone.


Name: Krokk
Species: Skakdi
Gender: Male
Faction: The Eye
Element: Plantlife
Vision Power: Lightning vision
Third Power: Krokk’s third power is similar to Vezok’s. Namely, it gives him the ability to absorb the powers of any being in close proximity, store them, and then use them himself later on. He could only store a power for a few hours, but is capable of absorbing more than one power at once.

Appearance: Krokk is a tall, predominantly green Skakdi with light brown parts on some parts of his limbs. His spine is interlaced with thorny vines that also run down his arms. This gives him a fierce, slightly ruffled appearance. His spine and face resemble Thok’s

Weapons: Krokk carries a large mace with the power to weaken whatever is hit with it. Beings are not affected, but objects react similarly to if a kanohi jutlin was used on them. This weapon was stolen (see bio section), and his old weapons were discarded before he reached Dreamland.

Secondary Abilities: Krokk has a high degree of endurance, and prides himself on never giving up.

Personality: Krokk is normally less savage than other Skakdi, and less likely to “think with a weapon”. On Dreamland, however, the extra fear and anger in the air make him a bit of a loose cannon, ready to blow up. He is most likely to do this when his sister is involved. He is fiercely loyal to her and will stick close to her when possible.

Biography: Krokk and his sister Mala have recently escaped Zakaz and are on the run from authorities. Name: Mesonak
Species: Skeletoa (Hooray for pun. Will elaborate in Bio Section.)
Gender: Male
Faction: Neutral
Appearance: Slim, tall, is really nothing more than a skeleton. Wears spiked ebony armor, with gold accents on his upper legs, arms, and torso. Wears a heavy, dark cloak over himself constantly to disguise the fact that, undearneath the armor, lies nothing but white bones.
Weapons: A long, curved blade which Mesonak refers to as "Death Whisper". Secondary weapons include a pair of Chakrams (spiked disks similar in appearance to Axel's from Kingdom Hearts: Reference pic), which act as boomerangs if thrown properly, returning to him in combat. Both can channel his twilight energy.
Mask: Modified Kanohi Volitak, painted pure white and crafted to resemble a Skull.
Power: Is able to control the elemental powers of shadow and light, however, having both under his possession has significantly reduced his ability to control either one. He has made it his mission to become more adept at using them in conjunction with each other.
Secondary Abilities: Increased reaction time during combat situations, as well as displaying natural agility in movement. Is a very logical individual.
Weakness: Has been known to over-think situations, often leading to arriving at the wrong conclusion. Finds it hard to trust anyone, as he has never known allies. Due to his skeletal nature, while physical pain does not affect him as much as others, he gets tired very easily.
Personality: Mesonak, ever since he was brought back from the dead, has been struck with a severe case of amnesia. Aside from his appearance, which obviously leads him to believe that he was killed at one point, he has no memory of anything prior to his death, or even himself. Following his escape, he has developed a very logical approach to things, preferring to leap into a situation well informed rather than charging in blindly, though he will do whatever is necessary to succeed at his goals. He's a very cynical individual, though he does have a sense of humor and uses it frequently. Mesonak knows no-one close enough to trust him, and while he must have had allies in his past life, knows nothing of what it means to have "friends". As such, he is very reserved, and is determined to hide his identity at all costs, preferring to masquerade himself as a Toa.
Biography: Once a proud Toa of Light, Mesonak was a warrior who lost his life in a conflict between two groups centuries before the events in this RPG. He was re-animated through the effects of a modified Kanohi Tryna, allowing for the dead to be brought back to the world of the living without intense concentration. Upon awakening from his "slumber", he was faced with his captor, and savior, an insane being by the name of Kraitio, who delivered the final blow to him in combat, ending his life. Kraitio imbued Mesonak, who awoke only to discover no memory of his former life, with intense shadow energy, with the intent of utilizing him, as well as others, as his own personal army. Mesonak, after recovering slightly, broke free from his captor, swiftly dispatching Kraitio, destroying the Tryna, and escaping from his captivity with one item: a sword, imbued with shadow energy. Mesonak roamed the land for several years without any goal in mind, merely wandering, searching for purpose and attempting to reclaim his memories. Upon hearing about the Insomniac Group, Mesonak signed up, feeling a strange urge to know more about this "Dreamland". He hoped adventuring there would help fill in some blanks from his past and give his new lease on "life" a purpose. He has acquired a Kanohi Volitak through "questionable" means, and has crafted strong armor in order to masquerade himself as a Toa for this expedition. He has developed a fondness for his blade, which he named "Death Whisper", and has picked up two Chakrams along the way, imbuing one with his shadow energy and the other with his light energy.

Name: Vertak

Species: Ba-Matoran or “Matoran Nuva”

Appearance: Pretty much like this: Gallery. He has a strange tattoo on his left shoulder, the origins of which are unknown to everyone else, except for other Dark Hunters. He also has a scar running down his entire left leg.

Weapons: A dagger he keeps on him at all times, a round and plain shield, and a sword.

Mask:Kanohi Volitak, Mask of Stealth (able to use it)

Power: Gravity (can use it)

Secondary Abilities: Can use his mask and cloak to blend perfectly into the shadows, and his sword gives him limited control over shadow. At night, this enables him to make himself virtually invisible. He also has mental shielding, blocking his mind from all unwanted outside access, and a limited control over the element of light.

Weakness: Because he’s a Matoran, Vertak doesn’t have the physical strength or speed necessary to defeat larger foes one on one, and as such must rely on the element of surprise most times. His suspicious and secretive nature can also be used against him.

Personality: Vertak is secretive and suspicious of those around him except for a select few; this has been magnified by the island. However, to those he trusts he is respectful and thoughtful, and likes a mystery. He is also determined, and usually refuses to accept defeat permanently in regard to any objective.

Biography: Originally from Metru-Nui, Vertak has been wandering the Universe for many years on orders of The Shadowed One. In that time he’s been writing an account of his adventures to aid the Dark Hunters, and suffered many injuries and other things; all of his formerly purple armor has been permanently scorched and burnt either black or gunmetal. As a member of the Dark Hunters, Vertak has been given increased speed, strength, and endurance, but still not enough to take on many larger foes, as shown by the scar down his left leg. Vertak has come to Dreamland of his own accord, to try and possibly solve any of the mysteries surrounding the place and possibly find a good place for the Dark Hunters to set up another fortress.

[Cosmic Titan]

Appearance: He is seven feet tall. He wears chainmail and steel plate armor. The steel plates are gold colored and the chainmail is silver colored. The armor is made from titanium and symbols from his homeland are carved into the plate part of his armor. His eyes and heart light are blue. He wears a helmet that resembles a dragon’s skull but also fully covers his head.
Weapons: He carries a Katana and a shield made from titanium.
Mask: Great Mask of Truth. His helmet absorbed his mask and has essentially become his mask.
Power: Elemental Light powers- He can conjure and manipulate and absorb light. But he can’t use or learn how to use any of those strange powers that Matoran of Light have and Toa can normally learn through intense training.
Secondary Abilities: He is a master swordsman but he does not have much skill with other types of weapons.
He is much physically stronger than normal Toa and he is adept at hand to hand combat.
He also has powerful mental shields.
Weakness: He is a Toa of Light and is weak against shadow powers but not the dark.
Personality: He is an independent, analytical and quiet. He is also fickle and lacks good decision making skills. He is very aggressive in battle but he will feel guilty after battles or fights regardless of the outcome. So he tries to avoid fighting. He is hard to win over but once you do he is very loyal and protective of his friends. But if he is crossed there will be little chance of regaining his friendship.
Biography: He was created in another dimension by the Great Beings. He also lived in Karda Nui with the other Av-Matoran. He worked as a warrior but always dreamed of exploring. So one day he did. He set off alone to see the world. He went to many different places, met new beings and did all sorts of things. During his journey he learned many things. He even fell into a pool of energized protodermis. He was altered mentally but not physically. Then one day out of the blue and for no apparent reason he fell through a dimensional portal.
He arrived in another Matoran Universe that was not his own and more specifically an island called Dreamland. Here he wandered around dazed and confused for a while but then happened on a strange helmet. He decided to keep it and so he placed it on his head. Once his did this he was transformed into a Toa and most of his memories were restored.

Appearance: He stands exactly seven feet tall. He wears plain armor that is black and silver in color. His eyes and heart light are red.

Secondary Abilities: He is in peak physical condition and he is very agile and acrobatic.
Weakness: Due to his powers he has become weak against elemental light but not natural light.
Personality: He is calm, clever and assertive.
Biography: He was once a Matoran that lived peacefully in Metru Nui. But after the death of a close friend he became bent on revenge. He trained himself in combat and learned how to control the shadow and so they did not cloud his mind he forcefully removed his old element from his body, mind and spirit. Soon after he became a Toa and his abilities only became stronger. He did get vengeance for his friend and soon traveled the universe as a vigilante. He always flees before anyone can recognize him for his deeds.

Appearance: He is average height and scrawny. He wears light armor under heavy black cloaks. His eyes and heart light are yellow. His mask looks abnormal and fits very snuggly to his face.

Secondary Abilities: He is very agile and nimble. And he is deceptively strong.
Weakness: His mask can give him visions any time it wants and make him unable to do what he was doing. For some odd reason he is allergic to Protosteel. He is not very mentally stable.
Personality: Paranoid, erratic and insensitively frank.
Biography: He lived in a village in the Southern Islands as a Matoran and one day he was infected by a strange virus. While it did nothing at first he later started showing signs of insanity and schizophrenia. His physical form became twisted and his village shunned him. One day a passing village noticed him and tried to help. The traveler took him with him and after visiting many healer and doctors they got a hold on the disease but it could not truly be cured. The traveler felt pity and gave him a perfectly spherical stone. Upon touching the stone he became a Toa. The traveler claimed to know nothing about it. Soon after that they went their separate ways. He eventually wound up on the island as part of the crew.

Secondary Abilities: Relatively strong and intelligent, for a Matoran. Relatively agile, as his race provides.
Weakness: Well, he's a Matoran - can get pretty much punched around by everyone else and all. Not to mention, he's so concerned with his work that you can basically blackmail him by just stealing his notes.
Personality: Baragaal is a scientist, pure and simple. He cares about little more than the Rhaks at this point in time, for science. He shows little or no concern for what happens on the island, and off it, too: all he wants and all he needs is science.
Biography: Baragaal, true to cliche plots, has half-amnesia. He can't remember how he got to the island: all he knows is, he's a scientist, and for everything else, refer to Personality. He lives in Camp C, almost never moving from his shack.

Appearance: A gaunt Toa of Iron. Eyes are sunken in. Few if any facial expressions give most the impression of a broken mind. His right hand is prosthetic, actuated by clockwork and controlled by electronic sensors.
Weapons: A collapsible longsword.
Mask: Mask of Adaptation.
Power: Elemental control over Iron.
Secondary Abilities: Myr can make a weapon out of almost any metal. He can wield his weapons as skillfully as he can make them, and .
Weakness: Myr tends to focus on his work more than anything else, and often forgets to rest.
Personality: Myr will often do what he is asked, but the moment he believes there is a better alternative, he'll completely ignore the "orders" of his superiors. Myr is generally calm, but can be an absolute nightmare in combat.
Biography: Myr has worked for most of his life as an engineer, constructing prototypes of various weapons and weapon systems. His work has taken him to Xia. Myr had grown tired of the routine of designing a new weapon, improving it, and signing it over to some random individual. He was about to sign over a design to a wealthy manufacturing company when he heard of the Insomniac Group. He applied as soon as he could.

[Kahi]

Name: Kahi Govaki
Species: Toa
Gender: Male
Faction: Neutral
Appearance: Alternating maroon and white colors, with a maroon mask and body coupled with white limbs. Long wear and tear on the armor have made it very saturated in color, but his form is still recognizable. Has a Metru-like build and armor, with Inika feet (specifically Toa Iniker Jaller/Nuparu/Matoro's). Also has a turban-like strip of cloth wrapped around his neck and body.
Weapons: Gunsaber. Contains hilt similar to a pistol in appearance with a long blade emitting from the barrel. The gun itself channels elemental plasma energy into a high-impact compact burst, while the sword functions as a normal Toa Tool would. The itself gun is quite large, larger than just a normal pistol. The barrel extends for about half the length of a rifle's barrel. The sword can retract its blade back into the gun for easier carrying purposes. Both are completely reliant on elemental energy and the blade itself can also be energized with plasma. Carries a concealed dagger for emergency purposes.
Mask: Calix and Kualsi, the latter in the shape of a Calix

Secondary Abilities: Average blade training, relatively accurate shot. Tends to combine the two in a sort of unique fighting style, mixing up swordplay and gunplay in order to confuse his opponent. Extremely skilled with hand-to-hand combat, which is extremely amplified due to his Calix. Very analytical and thinks fast, able to sometimes project entire fights within his mind. Has very high deductive reasoning abilities as well. Also has some training in mechanical and engineering work due to his "education" as a child given by several high-profile Fe-Matoran.
Weakness: Weaker against water and ice, dislikes the jungle/plantlife. He also is mainly selfish and gives off the impression that he would screw anyone over to get what he wants, leading to obvious shortcomings and mistrust against most teammates. Very accustomed to fighting/performing with his abilities through his Calix, leading him to become extremely dependent on it. Tends not to shut up once he gets started talking.
Personality: Eccentric. Logical and intelligent, but also very arrogant and prideful. Very competitive and vengeful and takes great joy in people experiencing loss against him, the more humiliating the better. Works mostly for selfish reasons, and holds a higher priority to his wellbeing than the wellbeing of others. He has a good sense of humor, but tends to respond in a cynical, sarcastic sort of way to others. Tends to view others, specifically people that oppose him, as "lesser beings". Seems to have a plan for every situation, but no one really knows if he actually has it all planned out beforehand or just makes it up as he goes along. In short, the Matoran version of Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark if he was a. not rich, but greedy b. not human, but biomechanical and c. had Johnny Depp as a mentor.
Biography: The son of a rich buisnessman, Khorin Govaki, Kahi was born and raised in the island of Xia, where he lived a rich and plentiful life. While he at first humored his father's wishes to follow in his footsteps and become a warfare engineer, he was never satisfied with his life and soon left to pursue his own life of luxury. He was soon introduced to poverty when his father died and his inheritance was dealt to members of his company instead of him due to poor management with the will. While on the run from several Skakdi loan sharks to whom he now owned money, Kahi was introduced to the prospect of the sleeping island and decided to take his luck there and try and regain the fortune he lost.

Secondary Abilities: Extremely agile, able to leap from tree to tree quickly with ease. Also able to deal with pain easier.
Weakness: Low amount of stamina. Not the quickest thinker.
Personality: Fairly friendly toward his friends, Eljay does not very quickly trust people. He will normally stand away from large groups and watch things before doing anything. He is very often one to argue his opinion, and rarely surrenders a fight. While in combat, he will often make witty remarks toward his opponent.

Appearance: Like this, but if you need a description, here you go.
Zale has the general humanoid body of a Toa with teal and white covering his form. His eyes are an intense and concentrated green, which always seem to be in deep thought. His armor is hand-crafted, as evident by the dings and dents in it from pounding it with a hammer into shape. His cladding is also sparse, allowing him to more swiftly at the price of making him more vulnerable.

Weapons: Forearm mounted blades, one clean and straight and the other jagged and bent.

Mask: Great Kanohi Izan - The Izan has the ability to predict the future. Not by a large amount, but a small flash in the user's mind giving him/her a slim window of opportunity to predict an attack and dodge. This rarely comes in handy, however, because the user cannot control when they will get a vision.

Power: Plantlife

Secondary Abilities: Above-average eyesight.

Weakness: Zale has very unusually layered armor, meaning he can have plenty of armor in one spot and almost none to none in another. He is also susceptible to fire and ice attacks. His habit to be in deep thought can also catch him off guard, making him very vulnerable at times

Personality: Mildly shy and prefers to keep to himself, Zale in not a big people person. He will talk to people with no real problem, but always would prefer to sit alone and think. His emotions are tightly wound when it comes to his feelings, and he is easily hurt when someone insults his personal self. Zale isn't the smartest, but he's no pushover when it comes to intelligence. He doesn't like blindly charging into battles, preferring to make a plan first. Being pushed into large social encounters often makes him uncomfortable.

Biography: Zale was once part of a small Toa team for a short time, but barely escaped to tell the tale when they were ambushed by Rahkshi who killed his teammates. This permanently scarred him, leaving him quiet and depressed. He hung around a Matoran village for awhile, helping them set up and protecting them from attacks as much as he could. One day an onslaught of Skakdi burned the village to the ground, only leaving a handful of Matoran alive. Zale had been away at this time, and when he returned the Matoran attempted to stone him to death. Zale escaped and set sail to the open ocean, occasionally stopping at islands to get food and water.

Name: Sagittarius
Species: Mutated Toa
Gender: Male
Faction: None Yet
Appearance: Incredibly lean, no fat on his body at all. All muscule. His armor and skin is the color of the jungle, giving him natural camo. Glowing red eyes.
Weapons: His trusty long bow, his quiver of completely plant-life arrows(Wooden spikes, leaves instead of feathers). Three pouches for holding herbs and the such.
Mask: Sanok, Mask of Accuracy, In the shape of a Miru.
Power: Elemental Control over Plantlife, which he is very skilled in.
Secondary Abilities: Enhanced Agility, Speed, Strength, and Intelligence that exceeds a Toa by quite a bit. Gigantic knowledge of Herbs, edible plants, and the such. Mental Shield.
Weakness: Hates Heat or Cold attacks, and is skittish around Shadow-users.
Personality: Unused to Others, Helpful, Akward, Slient, Deadly, and sudden.
Biography: Sagittarius, the archer, was originally a very kind Matoran of the green, happy under the rule of the local Island Makuta. Sadly, this makuta was Mutran, and soon, Citizens were dissapearing, and Sagittarius was one of the first. Attempting to make the perfect solider, Mutran infected Sagittarius with dozens of Makuta viruses, upgrading his power level. When done, he gave him a toa stone, upgrading him. This is the result. Sagittarius escaped, the Makuta underestimating his power. As soon as he was free, Sagittarius ran off into oblivion, far from recapture. Sagittarius joined the others in their odyessy, hoping for something better in the new-land. He was dissapointed. Working with the rest of the Hunters, Sagittarius lived in Camp-C for a while, eventually getting to hate confining tents and sturctures, prefering to live in the jungle, even though the Rahks were out there. He didn't care. In his opinion, life can only get better, besides one bad possibility.

[Gentleman of Science]

Name: Lexis
Species: Toa
Gender: Male
Faction: Neutral
Appearance: Lexis is an average toa size with little to no armour around the arms and legs. He has a thin chestplate, just enough armour to withstand a strong blow from a blunt weapon or a quick jab with a sharp weapon and his main colour is dark green. Everything not covered by armour has wires and a metal frame exposed.
Weapons: A long metal staff with a blue band of cloth wrapped around the center.
Mask: A basic dark green hau without the mouthpiece.
Power: Plantlife, limited to known species of plant(e.g vines and flowers) and using them to hide.
Secondary Abilities: Agility and speed.
Weakness: When confronted, Lexis attempts to flee from the battle.
Personality: Shy and nervous. Doesn't speak too often, when he does he speaks very quietly and stutters often. Hates fighting and arguing.
Biography: Raised in a large city with strict parents, Lexis was constantly told to speak only when spoken to. Whenever he spoke his opinion, he was beaten. This lead to him rarely speaking and then on to not gaining any friends when he was forced to socialise. He was thrown out of his home when he became old enough to roam around on his own. Lexis lived on the streets, often seen crying in the alleyways of the city. He soon found an interest in plants after finding a patch of grass and a flower in the crack of the paving slabs and made his "home" in a forest, growing his own rows of varied species of wildlife. Then he heard about the Insomniac Group and how they were off to venture into a new land, hoping to discover the secrets of the sleeping matoran. Thinking he may be needed, he boarded the fifth ship to the newly named "Dreamland" but fell overboard on the journey. He fell unconscious and now awakens to find himself on the soaking wet shores of the island.

[Norik The Student]

Character Name: Riniu

Species: Male Toa of Air

Gender: Male

Appearance: Riniu has a body thinner than most and slightly taller than the average Toa. He is therefore can be described as lanky, but he is agile, like most Toa of Air. His armour is mostly green and silver. The armour on his left arm is mostly shredded after an early encounter witham a Rhak when he crashed on Dreamland. He has a hilt for his Shortsword.

Faction: The Researchers

Powers: Elemantal control over the Element Air

Weapons/Equipment: He has a short stabbing sword, about 60-80 centimetres long, similiar to an ancient Roman gladius. He has a hilt on his hip to store this. His Kanohi is the Kanohi Kualsi, the Mask of Quick Travel.

Secondary Ability: Agility and quick mind.

Bio: Riniu was a Toa in a city on the Southern Continent. His mentor had sacrificed his power to turn Riniu into a Toa. Although a relatively young Toa, he is extremely skilled in the use of his Elemental Power. He is slightly mischievous and likes playing pranks, but he does his duty with utmost discipline. In an effort to toughen him up, his team leader senthim on the Dreamland Expedition with two of his teammates. However one of them was killed on the shipwreck and the other was on another boat, and Riniu does not know where he is now. While his personality may lead most to believe that he would join The Hunters, he did not as he learned of the Matoran's plight. His sense of righteousness led him to join The Researchers as he thinks that they have devoted their attention to the Matoran in peril.

[Wotsiznaim]

Name: Kahlynn
Species: Skakdi
Gender: Male
Faction: Hunters
Appearance: Red head, spine and main armor, gold secondary armor and weapons. Webbed, two-toed feet, glowing red eyes, and a raggedy cloak with a large amount of holes and tears in it, which he wears most of the time. The top right-hand corner of his face is heavily scarred, but his hood covers it most of the time.
Weapons: Deployable ten-inch wrist blade, large shield, custom, cannon-shaped Zamor launcher, which fires balls of fire, which are created by his power.
Mask: N/A
Power: Heat vision and elemental control of plasma, which can only be used in conjunction with another Skakdi
Secondary Abilities: Quick-thinking, good tracker, good overall fighter
Weakness: Has a short temper, which often gets him into fights. He also has a cocky attitude which makes him underestimate his foes a lot. He can't swim, and has a slight fear of closed up or crowded places, like jungles.
Personality: A hardened Rahi-hunter, Kahlynn came on this expedition for the sole purpose of finding out about the strange Rahi that lived on the island. He was quick to join the Hunters when they came into being, and has since been a firm member of said faction. He has never forged any kind of friendships, believing them to be a waste of time. Almost every anecdote he has ever told is a lie, as is all the personal information he has given out.
Biography: As a Skakdi, he was clearly on the expedition in the first place for his own personal gain, although it was more for his Rahi-kill-collection than for anything else. Where he came from or how he came to leave is a mystery, but he likes to tell people that he wiped out too many Rahi species, and was banished. This is, of course, a lie, but it was all he told anyone about his background when he joined the expedition.

Appearance:Blue armour with grey accents a light purple highlights. Wears a skirt and a cloak, both brown. Relatively attractive.
Weapon: A staff adorned with various textures, with a silver Gali hook on one end, and a silver Pridak blade on the other.
Mask: Kanohi Rau, Mask of Translation
Power: Water
Secondary Abilities: Agility, Strong Will, Skilled Negotiator, Skilled Kanohi User
Weaknesses: Solia can be rather stubborn and secretive at times, and is also rather antisocial around people she does't know. She often takes things far too seriously and can get in a temper over nothing. When it comes to fighting, she finds it hard to concentrate and loses her head sometimes.
Personality: Whatever she lacks in physical form Solia more than makes up for in force of personality. She is tough as nails at all times, always ready with a snarky quip even in the face of death, not afraid to bend the rules every now and then, and seemingly never, ever scared.
Biography: The loss of a close friend on Metru-Nui scarred her heavily, leading her to a path of going it alone. She thought that joining the expedition would improve her team building skills and help her get over her traumatic past.

Secondary Abilities: Very fast reflexes, often giving the illusion his mask is an actual Calix.

Biography: An average researcher, Artorre came to the island to solve its mystery, like most everyone else. He wants somewhat to leave, but cannot abandon his friends and co-workers.

Appearance: Antrakha is a youthful Toa of Sonics, lean and strong. He lost his entire right arm and left just above the knee, and has advanced mechanical prothsetics, which he designed himself, replacing them. He has a black dragon painted on his mask, his chest plate, and his left shoulder. His eyes are yellow. Because he had heard tales of distant heroes, his armor looks very similar to the Toa Nuva, save for his arms and legs, which resemble the Inika's.
Weapons: Sword, sonic-powered Lancer-like assault rifle
Mask: Avokhii-shaped Mask of Rahi Control. The Mask has several enhancements, including selective sound dampeners, and a sensor that feeds information directly to Antrakha's eye.
Power: Sonics
Secondary Abilities: Expert marksman and is skilled with most weapons
Weaknesses: Loud sounds, bad memories, namely of a Toa he loved once.
Personality: Unlike most Toa of Sonics, Antrakha enjoys music. His thoughts tend to be everywhere, which he attributes to "Inventor's Syndrome". He is known as the "Warrior Inventor" where he is from.
Biography: Originally from a chain of islands called the Kanbara Isles, Antrakha used to live alone, with his pet Eagle Drake (a hawk-like Rahi that could be best described as a falcon-like dragon about four feet long and two feet tall) Takuya, he became a Toa after he discovered a Toa Stone on the ocean shore near his home. Several months later, he joined the Toa Kanbara, and fell in love with a Toa of Lightning. During a battle against marauders, his team was killed, and he managed to kill all but several raiders in his rage. During the battle, he lost his entire right arm, and most of his left leg. Appearance: Tillian is a tall, slender Toa of Fire who has donned a distinct set of purple armor. He has a scar running down one side of his face from when he was attacked by a Rahi before the events of Dreamland.
Weapons: He wields two blades coated in purple-colored protosteel; when he wields them in conjunction it looks like a sphere of violet fire is engulfing him at all times. He also carries two balanced throwing knives.
Mask: Calix
Power: Fire
Secondary Abilities: Charming, agile, and quick-witted. Very acrobatic.
Weaknesses: His fighting style can rely heavily on acrobatics, which means if you get him in an enclosed space he will be stuck on the defensive.
Personality: Tillian is friendly, charming, young, and loyal to those who are loyal to him.
Biography: Tillian is your average researcher. He signed up for something he didn't fully comprehend and got stranded on the island with the rest of the Insomniacs, but he doesn't care; all he wants is adventure. He's very open about his past until you ask him how he got his scar, which was a trophy from an extreme betrayal that Tillian vowed never to speak of again.

Appearance: Average height toa, Dorcha wears leather, chain, and plate protection, giving him full protection, and almost full movement. His armor is mottled with shades of ash grey and grey-brown, which blends in perfectly with both rock and bark.
Weapons: Twin swords, made with the powers of Balta's weapons (The ability to repulse objects that connect with it). The blades are dead black, and although light, almost as strong as protosteel. The crosspieces are short, and slant up diagonally towards the blades. he carries a pouch of war darts at his side.
Mask: Kakama.
Power: Elemental sonics.
Secondary Abilities: Very skilled at stealth, able to move literally unseen in the right conditions. A skilled swordfighter and dart thrower. he is, even without a kakama, fast, tough, and agile.
Weakness: Weak against mental assaults, and tends to be shocked by betrayal.
Personality: Dorcha always seems to be looking out of a perpetually blank face, with morose and sad ice blue eyes. he is quiet, and serious, not given to laughter. He is fiercely devoted to his beliefs, with the result that he will fight to the death for them. A strong dislike for the other factions comes with it.
Biography: Once a nondescript toa on the southern continent, Dorcha trained for centuries under an older toa, in the arts of moving, and of fighting. Finally, he joined the research team as a guard. when they split, he steadfastedly stood with the group wanting to continue, as was his duty.
